it seems to me what you're attempting is an impossible task. To separate out the club from the manager. The manager decides every aspect of what happens at the club. The net effect is your time following Everton whilst he is here is spent finding fault with every aspect of what happens.
Not true. You can clearly see who is in charge at the club and it is very much the Mosh

He can't lose. And if these gang of gobshiets get relegated I want no one else but Benitez to expell most of them and get us back into the prem.
so.. you think that a manager, who will have to take us out of upper mid-table obscurity for us to get relegated for the first time in 70 years, would be our best best at winning us promotion?

Crackers.

I'd bounce the bulbous bounder back to the Wirral and fill the Tunnels back in.

ATM taking it easy in the sun on a friends yacht who is also an associate agent Mendes, how do we know if he is fit?
Why does he have to be match fit?
Benitez is refusing to put him on the pitch, so how can he BE match fit.

So as long as he can easily pass a medical, bulbous Benny couldn't care less.

yes, if we have a season like last, there's no way that RB gets the same kid gloves carlo got. its not the place in the table, it's the manner of how we perform, And Everton fell off a cliff last season. And yes, Benitez won't be given much leeway if that happens again. Having said that, I think we are highly unlikely to stink the place out this season the way we did last. We could still finish 8/9th without having played too badly. What I'm trying to say, is that the points total under Carlo didn't look too bad, but we all know we were rotten in the last six months. We could have a much better season this, and finish with a similar points total (59 points)
For now, I'm just happy the football is watchable again though I have been impressed with RB so far. The football was truly awful to watch last season. I didn't catch the first couple of games during the winning streak but I wasn't impressed with the football after that even the win against Liverpool. I just cannot abide that kind of cowardly and tedious football where you nick a goal and then try to sit on the lead for 90 minutes. I don't think it really works anymore as Mourinho seems to have found, and fans sure as hell won't put up with the football (though Carlo got a pass due to his name) if it isn't working. He did us a big favour by initiating his own exit instead of waiting to be sacked, not that I think in doing so he was thinking of us of course!

It’s really not, we’ve had 4 games and I’ve easily done it.

And it’s quite rich saying that we’re “spending our time finding faults”, massive lol. Have you seen virtually every other thread, it’s all people do.

Stand down Kev.

So what your saying is if we get relegated (we wont but for arguments sake) its the players fault and Benitez should stay to get us back in the PL, but no blame will be laid at Benitez's door for the relegation?:hayee:

Yeah until absolutely anything goes wrong and Benitez gets the blame for it. Lord "alright at martial arts me" Buckethead will bounce the bulbous blert back to the wirral ....
As you will no doubt know, I'm no fan of the new manager but yes, he will carry the can when or (if, to keep everyone happy) it goes belly up.

I believe Mosh should be held to account for much of what we have witnessed but hopefully he may, and I mean may, get his act together and again maybe Benítez is his starting point? At this point I'm yet to be convinced but Everton will be here long after both of these have long sailed.

Yeah mate, we really saw off those two relegation contenders in style didn't we...

I find him eminently objectionable.

I do not like his face and the weasel words that come out of his face.
I do not like that he told our best player to sod off before a ball had been stuck
I do not like the facht! we have chosen to start season with no cover at Left or Right back (made worse by Shameless Goalman's immediate injury)
I do not like that he has turned some levelheaded Evertonians in to screaming rabid Kopites, but I suppose that is what you get when you hire a kopite.
I do not like his sneer.
Got a point about the sneer, it’s not an endearing feature. Always comes across as somebody who is very pleased with himself. Hasn’t stopped him making a good start here though. I’ll never be able to like Benitez, but, I’m impressed with the way he has started. Early days yet, but, there is an improvement on how our performances were in Ancelotti’s last few months at the club.

He's the ideal man for the job. He brought Newcastle straight back up after taking them down

You've never disliked an Everton manager and still supported Everton? You've never wanted a manager gone and still supported Everton? You gave your full support to Mike Walker, Walter Smith, Ronald Koeman and Sam Allardyce all the way to the end of their tenures? Unless all of those things are true then you can fully understand what the OP was saying. Everton football club will never be one man, whether that be owner, manager or player. If you don't believe that, then it is you who disrespects Everton football club, not anybody else.
