I don't think we can be sure who we bid for. The only thing we can be sure about is that there were issues and that meant that yet again we didn't get a right back. That's a failing from everyone, manager, DOF and anyone else involved in recruitment.

I think he is saying only report on something that is true and not conjecture. In this instance, saying Rafael only wanted and experienced RB and then we know we bid for the scottish lad.... it makes it less believable, however, it continues to turn fans against the management.
