Still waiting for confirmation of this 5th highest earner on 90k a week.

I already have told you I don't know what James earns (neither do you) but 90% of the media claim its way in excess of £100k a week and being a free transfer and "der best player in der werld" it doesn't take a club mole to work out that's likely accurate.

Sorry mate this is the Benitez thread.

But to answer your question Benitez has chosen to be here and to try take this sorry club forward despite having to put up with supporters such as yourself gunning for his throat from day 1.

That alone deserves respect from the rest of us.

There ya go lying again , just as i thought it was a competative conversation.

For the record.

I dont go gunning for anyones throat .

Would i wish him any harm ?....No.
The man is a human being with a family.

Do i rate him as a manager ?....maybe 10 years ago.

Is he good enough for this club ?....hell no.

Do i want him to fail ? ....hell no.

Doesnt mean i gotta like him and he's a poor apointment.
He'll be gone with the next run of bad results like Martinez , Koeman , Silva and Allardyce. Who all started well btw.

What i do detest is a power play from a manager to rid the club of the best talent the club has seen for 30 years to make way (as an excuse ) for players that run around
