I don’t have £500m to inject into the club. If I did, yes I’d make better decisions, because I would recognise the limitations of my own knowledge and wouldn’t overrule the football people I put in place to make the decisions. I’m very grateful for the money he’s put in on a theoretical level, but on a practical level, we’re in a significantly worse position than when he took over (with the obvious exception of the stadium - but we’re talking about footballing decisions here)

Whether I’d do a better job as manager is utterly irrelevant and a complete straw man argument. But since you seem to want to go down that (rather strange) road - on the basis of the last 10 games, how much worse could any of us do?!
Could you deal with the fan pressure?

If we hadn’t have found a financial backer I guess a question is whether we’d have kept pace

Yes we’re in a mess at the moment but things were looking good only 7 months ago. Issues we have relate to: Ancelotti leaving with no notice and dropping us in it, not having Sigurdsson available, no DCL, no summer money, fan negativity

In my view Raf’a could surely have got something out of James (unless FFP was forcing the sale) and don’t like what’s going on with Digne

But despite what people think of him he was amongst the best managers available at the short notice we had

He’s done well elsewhere - they liked him at Newcastle - he deserves a chance

I remember people didn’t like Allardyce either and weren’t happy when he got us 8th place - some just like to moan above all else

Another loss at home for Potter. 11 without a win now?

I ain't a Potter fan but the whole idea behind him is a more modern approach, an identity and style for a team.

If Benitez was doing this rather than making us look a complete mess that concede 2 goals a game, and defensively sound (which Brighton are)...he'd be given more slack

Googling the definition of ‘idiot’ - it says ‘a person of low intelligence’

Googling also shows that Moshiri was at UCL, EY, Deloitte etc - all of those would have tested his intelligence one way or another before letting him in

I doubt he has low intelligence, that’s not to say he’s not weird though
He may have business acumen in fact he will have undoubtedly but this does not translate or transfer on the evidence we see before us to running a football club and after all the whole reason we are here is THE football club so its only fair that his acumen be questioned in relation to that!

He has made idiotic decisions therefore it fits.

He needs to totally back away, completely from football matters and utilise his experience, acumen and money establishing a firm business model that generates income, sponsorship and interest in Everton and to stop all the Marquee Chasing "statements" they have, thus far failed, Stadium aside.

2 names

2 players.
1 x easily guessed.
What do you make of this?
I reckon Benitez praise calling Allan a warrior, is a subtle message to sicknotes like Mina etc

"Allan told me he wants to play and help the team, he is a warrior"
I make out that Benitez is a egotistical bell who needs to be turfed out before he ruins the Club and drives supporters even further away

Ok, fair enough.

In terms of being a football club owner he is an idiot.

How's that?

I know some very intelligent people who are incredibly useless at things they don't know much about.

A person who employs a universally hated figure (and he was at the time, lets get that straight) to manage his football club who is well known for needing money to spend to have any modicum of success all whilst having no money to give him reeks of a person of low intelligence to me (in footballing terms).
He does say and do some odd things and his emotional intelligence seems to be off

On paper, taking Liverpool related emotion out, Rafael has solid credentials. Newcastle didn’t have that baggage and they grew to like him

Moshiri certainly was pushing it asking the EFC fans to accept Raf’a. He’s hoped that logic could prevail but its in fairly short supply in the fan base - who don’t seem consider the bigger picture or know how to deal with any poor run

It’s up to the fans really as to how they want to try to help the club in these circumstances. The most difficult perhaps, yet also most helpful would be to support the club as on Monday, in my view. I’d question if we’re up to that task though…

Yes but to just dismiss the man who’s bankrolled the whole operation to the extent he has as an ‘idiot’ - that’s pretty extreme

Some general positivity would go a long way. There seems to be very little empathy for the people in there doing it

Perhaps the supporters club can find ways to bring the club and fans closer together so fans can get more of an appreciation of the work we do on the inside
I mean, he has bankrolled it and clearly isn't isn't idiot to be as wealthy as he is, but in terms of running a football club, he has come across that way. Spending 500m is great and all, except it has crippled us currently.

There's been lots of positivity at various times, and I'm sure everyone works very hard and does lots of good work. But the communication side from the club, top down, is pretty horrendous. The best thing about us is EITC. Which is lovely, but it's a football club. And we look a shambles throughout, and that's what others see us as currently.

Really, right now, what are the things to be positive about?
A divisive managerial appointment?
Bordering on fines/points deductions because of FFP?
1 win in 10 games?
Our worst run in 22 years?
Being smashed at home to Liverpool?
Board members leaving and being sacked?
Several police incidences surrounding different players for a range of offences including drink driving etc?

And you want fans to turn up and act happy? And actually, fans generally do turn up and get behind the team, that changes when we show the lacklustre performances we have been showing and inevitably go behind in nearly every game we have played.

how many times have we come from behind to win this season? more than the last five years put together? Tactically he's excellent.
The tactical excellence that saw us lose 5-2 at home to Watford and take our biggest home derby pasting in a few decades after playing a midfield 2 that anyone who’d watched 15mins of football in their lives could see would be walked over by the RS.

It’s hard to deny that sort of tactical excellence.
