My beef with Rafael is not his past with LFC nor his snide remark about EFC but rather his team selection, tactics and crap substitutions plus the incredible Roldan deal. EFC needed a centre-forward who could immediately go into the team and produce; Roldan was out of shape and needed months to get match fit plus he has been less than average for years. Roldan was signed by Rafael at NUFC and in China on big dough - why?

However it all can change quickly. If Rafael gets two or three deals over the line this winter that provide optimism then I will be happy. I will be happier in two and a half years when he and Iwobi are off.

Do you read your own posts at all ?

What you want is what every club in the world wants, it isn't that easy to get them and the ones who almost guarantee success will not come to Everton.

I would like you to suggest a name that you think is not a big risk, would come to Everton and almost guarantee the targets you have set.
I don't know why people do this because they're never happy with the answer anyway. If I told you the fella who did my wall was a cowboy you wouldn't ask me to name a better plasterer so I don't know why it always happens with conversations like this.

You don't think a manager could come in and not drive our best players out of the club and play better football than we have been seeing?

They aren't exactly hard requests.

Fair enough mate.. I come from Liverpool and I am a supporter of the Chinese Team Dalian Pro... I like Benitez because he has done so much for the City of Liverpool where I live and supports some local worthwhile charities. He has made the Merseyside area his home and has shown admirable courage to take on a job which was stacked against him before he even got in the door. He has had his personal safety threatened his family made to feel uncomfortable and even when he has done well he has had any credit taken away from him by an element of the support.
All the man is trying to do is try to give once great football club some credibility in the modern game by restoring some of its tradition and values which have sadly been lost over best part of thirty years.... the job in hand was always going to based on upsetting the apple cart with some of the establishment.. making unpopular and difficult decisions and basically sorting the mess out of about five previous managers... this was no quick or overnight fix..
Moshiri put him there to steady the ship and make the club stable before it moves to the new stadium.. do you all forget.. this manager was grilled in about fifteen interviews before being offered the job so they know what his plans are inside out...

Anyway gonna leave this here for now...

Behave. No scouser supports Dalian Pro - a team that have only been competing professionally since 2010, when they started playing in the third tier of Chinese football.

I don’t think it is when you look at the part of the example the poster is highlighting.. Howard Kendall would of never given the club the success it had if the same SKY Sports brigade now within the fanbase back then as he would of been sacked, well before that infamous Coventry game.. and that’s a fact...

These fans that don’t want Benitez.. why aren’t you giving him the same time and money you afforded.. Martinez.. Silva or Koeman, if Benitez is sacked after five months he would probably be a record as quickest Everton manager sacked in a very long time.. why not just treat him same as previous ones before turning on him because as most of you say.. it has nothing to do with him being an ex red manager just footballing principles on the pitch you don’t agree with.
Jesus lad, let it lie!!

showing yourself up to be a proper bell!

Hi.
I'm just wondering where Liverpool branch of the Dalian supporters club meet on match days. I'd like to maybe tuck into a bats wing while cheering on the boys .

He meets himself in the phone box outside the Spellow every other Saturday.

You can recognise him, by his half and half RS / Dalian scarf and hat.
