BOBA don’t like Gordon because he’s the fly in the ointment of their pointless agenda. They’d love Iwobi to be playing so they could endlessly carp on about how Gordon/Dobbin/some 14 year old from the academy should be playing instead, and Benitez only picks experience.

Gordon disproves all of that. Benitez has given a young player a chance and he’s paying us back now. That doesn’t fit in with the endless negative tirades about how he’s a dinosaur that only buys ex Newcastle players, only ever plays old experienced players, and doesn’t give youth a chance.
I must have missed that being started but yet more attempts to cause division and rile people up. Same as when you all kept using the words cult etc. You say that others can't accept your opinions, but you start using acronyms like that because you can't.

Yeah because me, @davek and @ForeverBlue92 agree on everything don’t we? Just take a look through the managerial threads of Martinez and Ancelotti to see how ridiculous your assertion is. Maybe question why you continuously struggle to accept the opinions of only a tiny minority of the forum just because they disagree with you. Are you that insecure about your opinion that you need total unanimity behind it and no dissenting voices? Disagreement is healthy. Embrace it.
To be fair to @windymiller when you start using Dave catchphrases, you probably want to start re-evaluating your life.

I think Gordon's been excellent and I'm glad he has been playing. I wanted him playing last season as well.

But, for that reason, the fact he has been given an opportunity he isn't going to come out and say anything negative is he.

Do you think he starts regularly if we have no injuries though?

I find it fascinating that you think the club putting player after player out on camera to say how great Benitez is and what a nice guy he is. It's like a defendant wheeling out a raft of character witnesses, it's pathetic. He should get on with his job and get praise when he does it well, the reason we are seeing these interviews is because he is not doing well, he's doing worse than Mike Walker in fact. You don't see Man City setting up interviews with Kyle Walker and Phil Foden to tell the world that Guardiola is like their dad and best friend.
Also they wants to stay in the team and from Digne being dropped to JJK being called up there is a clear link between praising the manager and the players' prospects at the club.

Lets see how the praise keeps going once he's sacked.

Apparently it's a term being used by the spokespeople for the 'silent majority' (another one of the terms they created), except the majority on here don't know what it means.

It's very confusing trying to keep up.

Ultimately. Sack.
Well that’s not the definition that i found mate that’s for sure !!!!

It’s concerning how many people I’ve seen today who actually want us to lose tomorrow to enhance his chances of being sacked.
I want him gone, don’t get me wrong, but wanting us knocked out of the cup is just not right for any of us.

This is what the appointment of Benitez brought to the fan base.

It was all so predictable.

Well both have said he was a fantastic manager. The same, as mentioned earlier, John Arne Riise has said. Past and present Newcastle players have expressed their admiration. People are different, and not everyone gets along on a personal level. Like other people, he probably has some traits that are not ideal, but one finds stories of bad relationships between managers and players everywhere.
I take it you didn’t see Caragher’s interview the other day where he said Benitez thrives on conflict and was constantly falling out with players. He also said by the by, that his football was so bad to watch it had to produce results to be tolerated. You can talk till you are blue in the face, it is impossible to sensibly defend Benitez’ position as Everton manager.

I don’t believe he could manage anywhere successfully any more, but, he most certainly cannot manage successfully here. Conflict, excuses and crap football are what he will continue to serve up here. Oh, and the results aren’t too clever either are they?
