This is true and we’ll probably not compete for one for a while yet so in that case can we actually enjoy watching us play and have a team that plays semi attractive football in the meantime and actually take the game to the opposition.

He didn’t. He did however get Norwich to a 3rd place finish in the PL which is more impressive than anything Benitez has managed in his last couple of jobs, and unlike Benitez actually AVOIDED getting relegated from the top flight
The same players only conceded 9 goals from set pieces all season under Ancelotti Zat, under Benitez we're at 15 and counting...

But the sooner you all face reality that getting rid of yet another manager now will mean 9 managers in 8 years. I suppose we also had alot of injuries last year. My guess is that Davide Ancelottis system was so good that it aided us massively...no idea why Benitez changed it as it worked.
Just looking at our defenders though. On the pitch surely they can do better than what were seeing.
Its like none of them have defended a set piece before.

The thing that is most indefensible for Benitez is he doesn’t seem to be coaching the players tactically at all. Every single game we have the same issues from set pieces, the same lack of shape, and the same look of players literally not knowing what to do (I.e. to press, to sit off, who to mark, etc)
That to me says he is a bad manager who has no intention of finding a system to fit the players or changing his style. Worse when you consider this is a squad who until right at the end of last season were in European places.
