He looked good to me in the second half after those first start nerves were out the way. Very commanding in the air, decent positioning and was good on the ball. He wasn't completely at fault for the first goal and had there been a pass on down the line then I doubt he'd have lost it.

It's been misplaced, we might actually have to give the lad a chance to grow into his position and acclimatise to the game over here instead of sending him back as a failure after just a couple of games. Such a shame that.

Some serious knee jerk reactions on here. He's a young lad being thrust into a sooner than expected starting role. Its not just about adapting to the English game, but also a culture shock too. Everyone forgets the background stuff when it comes to new players joining from foreign leagues.

He made mistakes. Of course he will. Its gonna take time, maybe a season or two. But he looks like he has potential to me. Players like Heinze, Pique and Luiz all got shipped out before getting settled in England. I'm hoping he gets time to learn his trade here and doesn't turn out to be a Coates or Kroldrup. Lets give him a chance eh blues?

I mentioned that last night, Rondon was literally made to look invisible last night such was his minimal impact.

He had a few dodgy passes first half, looked solid second half. Not everyone defender we bring in will be like John Stones unfortunately, some of them will take time to adapt.

Won a header so he's eclipsed Kroldrup already

He was good in his first appearance. Defenders from foreign leagues generally take a while to adjust to new leagues, and a few mistakes are bound to happen. Sometimes you'll be punished, sometimes they'll get away with it. I think with games under his belt he'll be fine.

My major concern with him though is I can see him costing us a couple of penalties while he's adapting. He got away with a couple of pushes in the penalty area and unless he gets told swiftly and cuts it out he'll get punished for it.

Fantastic. Young kid who wants to win.
I thought he did good. Won his individual battle with ease..mopped up well.

Looked raw but looks to have potential by the bucketload for me.
