I am only saying this now because if we do have the funds we need and can get better than those players. Barry has done well for us but he is slow with age and will not improve.

He really is a terrible defender, even excusing the red card. His positioning is all over the place and he leaves massive gaps trying to attack the ball he gets nowhere near. People are blinded because he scores a couple of goals and we haven't had that from the back since Lescott.

I think he is OK especially as its his 1st season in the PL. We get rid of him and who have we left that can actually head a ball.
