10 for me.

It's like watching a completely different team now compared to 2 months ago. Add In a fast young defender with potential and we now look like a team finally playing at the level we hoped we would be years ago.

Can't complain the squad isn't perfect with so many leeches on the wage bill still.

We have gone from a team devoid of any passion to sitting top of the league within 4 games.

Best window for a long time.

Are we stronger leaving the window than we were entering it? No doubt about that at all. The triple whammy signing of Allan, James, and Doucoure was the most exciting transfer business we've done in my time supporting the club (40 years now). However, we can put to be any notions of challenging the top four. We are far too light in key areas, such as in attack, to survive any significant injury to somebody like DCL or Richarlison. I also fear than our game is far too reliant on James, but, to be fair, that's nobody's fault as you just do not replace his level of talent.

So, all in all, I'll be disappointed if we cannot make a push for 6th. I still expect us to finish 7th or 8th - we really needed another big quality option up front, and I am not convinced Seamus is what he was despite his recent throwback cameo. However, you can't but be pleased with what we've done and Ancelotti has something to work with now. Just not enough for some of our more fanciful expectations, in my view.

One final point: Brands did nothing stupid at the last minute. That should not be underestimated. Last year, he took a preposterous punt on Iwobi. We cannot afford that type of gamble anymore (if we ever could), so I am pleased there was some restraint last night. We're more professional now.

9 from me

Would have been 10 if we weren’t now quite light up front and totally reliant on DCL and Richy staying fit.

Kean should have been replaced, but it’s tricky when the striker coming in knows he won’t be first choice.

10 from me

James, Allan and Doucoure fixed our midfield. Nkounkou looks a talent, Godfrey has high hopes.

Shifted Walcott and Sandro, +++

Moving Bolasie and Besic off to championship clubs in the next week will cap it off nicely
This all day long. We're top of the league and slotting for fun, the team spirit looks great and we have one of the best managers in world football calling the shots. If we get some attacking cover in the next week or so, I might upgrade to an 11.

We've got 13 games until the next window opens mate. Chill.

This has to be the best window we’ve had in some time. Weak areas addressed and proper quality brought in and brought in before the season started. High earning under performers shipped out and a last minute GK to challenge what has turned out to be our poorest player since the season started. 8/9 out of 10 for me.
If we can get Bolasie & Besic out I think we’ll bring in a championship attacker to support that front 3 that would be perfect.

I feel it's also worth remembering that as well as buying new players, Ancelotti also seems to be getting decent performances out of guys like Coleman, Iwobi and Sig this season, which given all of them were either in or edging towards the "get rid" pile is very useful.

9/10, some superb recruitment's.

Just a shame we are light up top but hopefully either they've seen enough to think Simms can step up or we have our eye on a championship player.

Was hoping we'd shift out more but I'm sure we will in the next week to championship clubs.

Just goes to show some of the wages we handed out to the likes of Bolasie, Besic, Walcott, Sandro and so on makes it really difficult to shift them, no chance of getting a nominal fee for any of them

It was an excellent window, the only downside was some of the hangers on remain, we're slowing chipping away at that though. The next window all of our crap will be getting replaced with quality. It was an evolution, not revolution remember, our time will come. I think the cackling rs know it too.
