Referees v Everton

When it happens the first time or on the odd occasion you can just about accept it. But it’s almost every game you play you get the rough end of decisions that aren’t even close to be correct.

Let me tell you what we’d do if it happened to us as often as it’s happening to Everton…… perhaps not ? seriously we have had it for decades- funnily enough except when we played you in the FA Cup where we got most of the decisions. I think that has to confirm the conspiracy theory if you’re on the wrong end of decisions against us!
Indeed, was it one (multiple players) offside and one handled goal and perhaps a penalty to us (I forget). I mean it's not Millwall's fault that Michael Oliver is a useless ref converting a 1-3 result into a 3-2 one! I'd kind of understand it if it was a less experienced ref.

Anyone know what "could" be a consequence of PGMOL finding in our favour over this Gordon one at the pit? Having an apology is meaningless as they done that already, I mean there is no precedent and yes the blue goggles from me are heavily in our favour but what action could they take? Its no good penalising the ref from our point of view.

Genuine question.

Nothing. They'll apologise if they think they get it wrong and will consider to make mistakes in future.

Tell me when you see another Referee do this ?

Absolutely nothing.

We're irrelevant to the 'product'

Liverpool dropping points detracts from the excitement of the title race, no referee wants to be responsible for that.

When they play Newcastle it will be exactly the same, though I expect Eddie Howe to try and out football them and they'll get smashed anyway.

Anthony Gordon "initiating contact" against Newcastle:

I notice that my posting this video clip has angered a couple of people. I would like to point out that my intention was to ridicule the allegations that Anthony Gordon is somehow cheating by allowing himself to be hacked to the ground with depressing regularity. I'm a fan of the young man and have never criticised him on here or anywhere else.
