How long ago? I mean that rhetorically because yes in the 80s and 90s it happened but it feels like the distant pastI don’t have an eidetic memory but it has happened before

Don’t think anyone is saying they weren’t red cards - they both were. It’s the action’s or refs/var inaction prior to branthwaite last man tackle that is the key issue and proble here - we should of had a pen, prob score it and still have 11 men on the pitch - I think we well win the game if that happens. To be honest, the two red cards were red cards. He's made a whole heap of other blunders regarding second yellows, penalties, hell Brainthwaite wouldn't even be sent off if he gives the shirt pull a pen, but I think the reds were fair.

It’s happened sooner than that but again like I said I don’t have an eidetic memory to give examplesHow long ago? I mean that rhetorically because yes in the 80s and 90s it happened but it feels like the distant past

The clear and obvious thing is the stupidest rule in the history of sports. Essentially they are saying we don't care about getting the call actually right if it isn't that wrong. They're rating not if it is wrong but how wrong.View attachment 165734View attachment 165735
WTAF does that mean ?
So they (VAR ) seen it and its obvious its a pen if Oliver gives it .
This is corruption at the highest level.

They are though. It isn't a "debate" but the VAR ref isn't buzzing down and saying go look at it unless he thinks it is really really wrong. No mate
They are not debating it at all.
Thats the actual point .
There's 3 of them and a room full of technicians mate. They are though. It isn't a "debate" but the VAR ref isn't buzzing down and saying go look at it unless he thinks it is really really wrong.
They make it up as they go along. Unbelievable. Imagine it in a court case. The prosecution would have a feild day.View attachment 165734View attachment 165735
