gonna be tough to get anything at Spurs Sunday

And if we lose, it will have zero impact on our prospects for the rest of the season.

We ain't challenging for Europe this season, and I think even the most blue-tinted of Evertonians would agree with that. But we should also stay up comfortably with the vast improvements we made to our spine in the summer

Ive got an idea, ready?…

Let’s not get over excited by beating a team like Southampton but also let’s pretend that a couple of defeats doesn’t automatically mean we will get relegated.?
In fairness most are realistic, but I reckon the ones who are all over the place probably don’t sit down and actually watch the games and then make wild judgements based on a result.

I`d say that a fair few of the wild judgements, are based on consumption of the cocaine, the stella, the chewing of gums and the grinding of the teeth.

I would be over the top with a point at Spurs but I’m not getting my hopes up.

Ah year the gills have that Fulham player on loan don't they, I'm worried they will call him back if he keeps banging in those goals

If Gillingham progress then they might draw Ipswich in the next round which means they’ll have to rest players for their upcoming league games which will give them an edge in their League Cup tie against Brentford, knocking them out means Brentford will be able to focus solely on the league. It’s not looking good for us.

Just to add a bit of perspective, I am at a loose end tonight, so,I decided to watch the Forest Villa game. Now if I was a Forest fan, I would be fully expecting to go straight back down, they are truly terrible, similar to us last season. Villa are not too much better than them to be honest, but, I think they will probably have enough to stay up. We really are in no danger.

Has to be at least mildly concerning that we only got 1 point from playing those 2 in that case though?

It’s too early to be looking at relegation and I agree that we’ve got enough to stay out of trouble, but I do find this complete dismissal of the idea a bit mad all things considered.
