2 points behind last season.... 27 points from 31 games really is pathetic, absolutely pathetic... we deserve to go down, we have been one of the worst 3 teams and the table will show that after 38 games... no way back, not now.

If we had won today I thought we could sneak 3, 4 or 5 more points to keep us up, now I reckon we need 7, 8 or 9 points from our last 7 games. I don`t see that, like I said when we were drawing, that wasnt good enough we cant draw our way out of this because it wont give us enough points.

3 wins needed, if you cant see where they are coming from I guess you need to brace yourself for the worst/inevitable...

Another crumb of comfort is Newcastle losing badly today so hopefully they go on a bad run now. If the players are up for it enough on the day we play them with a baying crowd behind them then there is a possibility of 3 points. In fact it's almost a must win now.
ALL of our games have been must wins for the last (roughly) 3 months.

We've thrown away quite a few winnable ones to draws and have 1 win in 8 currently. Relegation form means relegation battle, no two ways about it.

The odds for us beating Palace next weekend aren't too dissimilar to the odds of Fulham beating us today, even though at this moment it doesn't really feel that way. Palace are on a good run and are a decent side but 4 wins on the bounce is something few teams achieve in this league. Being away might even help as all our disastrous results have been at home.

Changes needed though: Maupay should never start a game for us again. Hopefully DCL back, if not Simms, I'd probably play Martin Sherif ahead of him now. As poor as we were for much of the match, I think Simms buries one of the chances Maupay had first half, and if we go in at half time it's a whole different story.

I had a bad feeling about today (we've been losing matches like that all season) but weirdly don't feel too pessimistic about next weekend.

Not sure how being away from home suits us when we've won about 3 away games in 2 years. For them the prize of a victory against a poor Everton side is virtually guaranteed safety. I'd expect them to take it.

Are they? How do you work that one out? And no 33 points won’t be enough at all, what have you been on?

Southampton and forest aren't reaching 33 that's for sure.

I don't think leicester will either.

We are better sides than them 3 clearly.

With DCL back or not we will definitely pull out a surprise result somewhere along the way, no question about that.

Last game of season, club relegated and the players shoving Tom Davies on the pitch for a lap of honour playing a grand old team on the tannoy whilst being pelted by fireworks.

Kenwright will be sat in his bedsit sipping lambrini chanting good times whilst baxendale will be pumping her boobs up for a night shift behind lime Street Station

Club is wrecked. Can't laugh anymore

Only 1 is at home, we have now got to win 1 or 2 away, we`ve managed 3 in nearly 2 full seasons.

Dont bank anything on away games, we arent getting anything, the team is mentally too weak.
But… don’t forget we play Leicester away… and their home form has been utterly dire.
so, I’m not sure that home/away matters so much when it comes down to the wire

The bottom 3 are dreadful though.
Yeah, and did you see Leicester went to City today and had the better of the game late on and actually finished with higher Xg than City, they will get out of it they have too much quality and the new management team will shore them up.

We have to get ahead of Leeds, we need 3 more points then them due to their better GD. I cant see it and if you cant I suggest you start mentally preparing yourself for what is coming our way......
