2 points behind last season.... 27 points from 31 games really is pathetic, absolutely pathetic... we deserve to go down, we have been one of the worst 3 teams and the table will show that after 38 games... no way back, not now.

If we had won today I thought we could sneak 3, 4 or 5 more points to keep us up, now I reckon we need 7, 8 or 9 points from our last 7 games. I don`t see that, like I said when we were drawing, that wasnt good enough we cant draw our way out of this because it wont give us enough points.

3 wins needed, if you cant see where they are coming from I guess you need to brace yourself for the worst/inevitable...

We were saying this last season when we had Chelsea and United to play at home.

Points often come from the games you don't expect them to - weird things do happen. So, people can maybe clutch onto those straws.

That said, for three teams, those points never come. Last season I believed we could stay up, even after Burnley. Can't say the same now.

Leicester, Palace and B'mouth are MUST win. We simply can't afford to lose any of these. Sadly, I can't see where else we can get points from. Newcastle are in the race for CL place, Brighton Europe and City the league. It won't easy but we can do it if we turn up.View attachment 208655.
Brighton will absolutely demolish this collective of pretend footballers. I expect a hiding at Palace too, obviously as well v City and probably Newcastle.

Lose to Leicester away too and I reckon we are 100% gone.

Newcastle won't handle the pressure.
But Fulham did comfortably

Atmosphere wasn't particularly great today though for a number of reasons.

It's always better for an evening game, plus nobody likes Newcastle, there's the Anthony Gordon factor, and you've gotta hope the line-up won't be as underwhelming as it was today.

The atmosphere will be good for the Newcastle game, whether the team will be is another thing.

Last season we had Richarlison and DCL towards the end of the season.
We now have 2 championship level strikers surrounded by a load of binmen.

Only McNeil can hold his head up in the last few weeks, the rest are so poor it’s painful.

Goodison crowd will keep us up again. You can't win them all at home. Dyche has won most of his home games, but you'll lose some.

Bournemouth may already be safe last game and I don't think Newcastle will be able to handle the atmosphere. Leicester away also key. We should be okay.

Has he? Thought we’d won 3, lost 2 and drawn 1. Our home record isn’t very good at all.

The atmosphere will be ok to start. But after 10 minutes if they are on top it won't be up to much. Players will keep us up. Not fans

Said ages ago that it would be a rollercoaster and I still think that. One week we look dead and buried and another we'll look fine with games to spare. Neither will probably be true and it will just be a case right at the end are we on the up while teams around us dip or vice versa.

Difficult? Yes. Tough? Well put your self in the shoes of Leicester, Leeds or Forest.
their games are tougher… quite a lot tougher….
I know we’re all depressed and can’t see where the next point is coming form, but if we take a step back, we’re in a better situation than the other three..
Are they?

I think we have a harder run in than West Ham, Leeds and Leicester. If they all pick up more points we are gone....

Was the head dropping today i couldn't cope with. They lost us as fans today after second, all the energy left the ground and they weren't angry enough, second to everything, letting Fulham have their own way - you cant have it.

Today was criminal, we had a huge opportunity to get two results up on Leicester - they have quality, they can score, they have winnable fixtures.

Its going to take a sea change now and relying on unlikely results away.

Today exposed the soft underbelly of the squad with a few injuries and suspensions - that performance is not worthy of this club or our ground.

We didn't die on our shields - without that regardless we will go down and deservedly.

Still we have a punchers chance - you have to want it Everton.

Hopefully today was last seasons Burnley, away.

Today though was pathetic.
I have to agree.

I'd make us 3rd favourites to go down now. As things stand it'll be:

17th Leicester
18th Everton
19th Forest
20th S'ton

And yes this does feel like Burnley away last season. We're staring down the barrel. It's all down to losing our settled starting line up.

I cant believe that after that very good Chelsea draw that we'd miss out on adding at least another 3 points from two home games.

There's no way Leicester dont get motivated by our slip ups.

I didnlt see this coming. The starting line up had me panicking but we fought back to a good platform in that match at HT. To capitulate from there in the situation we're in was shocking. It's rocked me.
