Well, we're going to have to win a game sooner or later if we're to stay up. Whichever way you slice it, last night was a must not lose.
Must not lose I’d agree with, but that’s a different thing altogether. We definitely need to win at least once to have a chance but last night itself wasn’t must win for me. If I had to grade our games over the season so far in terms of how ‘must win’ they were it’d be a fair way down the list to be honest.

I think the performance last night gave us all a bit of fresh hope that we could just get out of this.

Up until last night I had us and Leeds going down with Southampton. Leeds are in proper free fall and appointing Bisto Sam isn’t exactly a shot in the arm.

However, realistically I don’t see us getting more than another 4 points from the 4 games. It’s going to be proper squeaky bum time.

We play two teams with something still to play for, followed by two teams who will be playing with very little pressure. 4 points is very optimistic imo but not impossible, 2 points is a more realistic expectation and with that I think we're down.

...or, we play two teams under pressure to win them to get Europe/win the title and then 2 teams with their flip flops on.

You pays your money and you takes your choice, I suppose...

I think wolves are beatable and Bournemouth especially at home and if they're safe is a winnable game despite them doing the double on us previously. Wolves current striker options are somehow more woeful than ours and they have their own version of micheal Keane , craig dawson playing regularly due to injuries

I think we'll give them a game and get something.

Just rattle innto them and see if they want to miss the CL SF 2nd leg...
I’m with you, Dave. Ironically enough, it’s the city matchup where I see us getting a point if we are getting any.

Edit: out of the next two that is. Even then, think we are more than capable of getting a point at Brighton.

Absolutely, it's all speculation and open to each person's interpretation but I don't see Brighton or City growing frustrated with trying to breach the impenetrable defence of Michael Keane, capitulating under the pressure of Ben Godfrey's marauding runs or failing to live with the slick midfield interchanges between Iwobi and... well, probably De Bruyne.

We checked off one of their 'winnable games' (and one of their home fixtures), so yes, although we didn't advance on them points wise we scored a victory of sorts over them, extended our lead over S'ton to 5 points and narrowed the gap to Leeds and Forest to 1 point.
I know what points each team got, just pointing out that Everton did not close the gap on Leicester, the gap remains the same.
