we definitely need one more win at least i feel....Was bored earlier, so had a look at some stats.
Over the last 20 Premier League seasons, the average number of points required to stay up (without relying on goal difference) has been 35.7
Only twice would a team have survived with fewer than 34 points
40 points or above has only been required twice
I'll feel a lot happier if we get to 35/36 before the last day
If the players went into Brighton seeking revenge for the reverse fixture they got it. We also owe Wolves a beating and Bournemouth. Hope they have this attitude. We're on 32 points.
One more win gives us a 87% chance of survival.
One more win and a point gives us 95% chance of survival.
... but who knows? It depends on other teams - who saw us beating Brighton 5-1? That's not pessimism of cryarsing, it's this;
There's always the odd shock result in the run in - it looks like we got it.
I felt Fulham was the difference and it would send us down - winning that would have made the difference in keeping us up, but then we go and beat Brighton to recover those 3 points.
I've wrote off Man City, just hoping we don't get any injuries/suspensions or get battered.
Depending on other results, look to take a point at Wolves and then its heart in mouth come Bournemouth. A team who tend to be a bit of a bogey team for us, a team who have already spanked us twice this season.
Or 3 drawswe definitely need one more win at least i feel....
Oh we can. Their results are the only reason we now have a half decent chance of staying up and sustained me through the last few round of matches prior to Brighton it's the onlyI agree, we cant have the mentality that all the other sides around us are going to lose every game.

It's even worse than that . I want them to smash our rivals when they play them to assist the GD differential. Sad , sad daysFunny old world we are in .
I have spent my life wanting Liverpool and Newcastle to get beat every week now I want them both to win on Saturday.

No one is gleeful for God’s sakeAgreed
Some people on here are genuinely worried, and some are almost gleeful of the most negative scenarios panning out.
Stomach churning IMO
I think there is some of that but some others that are so stressed out by the situation that the only way they can cope is by expecting the absolute worst. Every contribution they make is framed in that context.Yes, I completely agree for most it's nerves and - as Ive said before myself - 'reverse psychology'.
But there's been a harder edge to some. A joyousness at the mess we're in. Unforgivable for me.
They attack Newcastle with that defence they are asking for trouble.Could say they'd been thinking the same thing about us up until Brighton. Nothing is given. Allardyce with have Leeds well up for there game against Newcastle this weekend.
