The final is on the 7th June, so 19 days from now.

I’d say it works in our favour. They won’t be resting the likes of Rice etc because of the big gap to the final.

They’ll play, they’ll all want to play, and even if they don’t, in will come lads desperate for a place in the squad.
I'm not so sure.

Anyone with a minor knock or slight strain will be rested on Sunday but I agree the full team is likely to play the last game of the season for the reason that you've given.

However I thought Pep was bound to rest Ederson, Walker , Dias , Akanji , Gundogan and Haaland v us so what the hell do I know? lol KdB and Grealish were the only ones I got rirgt in the City sweepstake.

I mean, I’d be totally surprised if Antonio is anywhere near the squad to be honest.

He couldn’t walk there towards the end, and he’ll be rested up, but Danny Ings is not a bad second choice for me.

They rested 9 against Brentford I believe, so it’s not like they’re going to be taxed going into the game.

Even a minor knock and you can recover, I’d expect a fair few changes for the Leicester game mind!

This is our run of fixtures under Moyes between the FA Cup Semi Final in 2009 & The Cup Final!
From what i remember we played with a bit of a freedom in these games with a party style of play. (Man City game being an anomaly as i remember Jags getting a nasty injury)

Professional Footballers with a wealth of recovery platforms available for them.
Probably made it back to london at like 2-3am, recovery today (in whatever way) and back on it tokorrow for training.

Back to “celebrate” with their fans in Rice’s last game at home? Yeah it’s going to be just fine.

Leeds have all the pressure and West Ham will have 60,000 fully backing them and not on their back.
This!
Will be a party atmosphere at West Ham, the players will play with a freedom

Really need to beat Wolves like. As much as everyone will be patting themselves on the back for a job well done if we draw - we are then one (relatively likely) result away from having the relegation issue taken right out of our hands with just 1 game left.

Not a position we want to be in.

Because west ham will rest most of their team. They have a chance of silverware in a couple of weeks and are all but safe.

No way will West ham be fielding a strong side or playing anywhere near 100 percent.

West ham will want to win the trophy for their fans.

Forest may get tonked in fairness.
Why wouldn’t players rotated in be playing at 100%? There are points to prove and final spots to play for.

Not because of any deep seated affection for Everton though
I've never heard him speak ill of the club, he stayed longer that he had to as he clearly enjoyed it here. The hatred only goes one way from our fans for one of our best players of the prem era.

None of that is important though, as if anyone watched the documentary they will know he is trying develop a deep rooted culture and will be into them to win this game

This all day long. So they had a couple of beers and a sandwich platter!!! No way they’d get hammered for winning the semifinal. I would imagine every player has a beer after a game anyway. As you say they’ll be home now recovering and no doubt moyes will rest a few on Sunday but there will be players outside the starting 11, fornals, lanzini, ogbonna, coufal, Fabianski, Ings, downes, cornet, who will want to do all they can to try and force their way into the team for the final. Add to that the 5 sub rule, if he does rest the likes of bowen, rice, Antonio etc they and others will come on for at least 30 minutes. As has been said by a few posters there’s now a different kind of pressure on leeds with their own fan base and parts of the media now believing they’ve struck lucky.

If they’d lost and gone home devastated who’s to say some of them don’t neck a bottle of vodka in their own homes to get over it. A happy mood and a couple of beers is nothing to worry about.

The main thing is the final on the horizon gives them motivation to stay focused and keep working hard. Lose last night and nothing would get them up for Sunday.

Allardyce seemed weirdly subdued in his presser. You can tell that he still doesn't really know too much about that Leeds squad - he's literally just been brought in to try and keep their emotions in check.
