We all need to accept that this could go any way yet.

We've a chance to get ourselves out of it, but then you look at our heroic team and sigh.

This is going the whole way and there's absolutely no guarantee of a happy ending.
At the end of the Fulham game and then again at the end of the Newcastle game, if somone had told you that we'd go into the last two games out of the relegation places and have Wolves and B'mouth to face, when those around us play Arsenal, Newcastle and a West Ham team buzzing at reaching a European final in the penultimate round of games, what would your reaction have been?

We shouldn't have had this chance. We should be delighted we have it. We have two bites at a win to get clear IMO.

That's as good as it gets for us this season. Whether we take our chances, who knows. But we have a better chance than the other three IMO - yes, including Forest.

They want to sue us for damages because we spent too much money
Counter sue citing the fact that we spent it so badly that this actually gave them an advantage while disadvantaging us.
They should be grateful.
It's not our fault they're so crap as to not take advantage of our help.

Yep, we’ve done everything to get relegated, but the rubbish teams below us keep throwing themselves under the bus……

All in our hands regardless of what the others do.

However, I guarantee you Leeds would have much sooner been playing a wham side who have just been knocked out of Europe as opposed to one that is in their first European final since 1976 and their first final of any kind since 2006.

The bubbles will be blowing on Sunday at the London stadium regardless of how much bisto boobs has dirty Leeds fired up.

Same type of thing goes for Leicester - playing at the horse punchers who know a win confirms champions league football - I don’t much care for the geordies, but it’s gonna be one hell of an atmosphere there on Monday night and I hope the foxes can’t live with it.

Hopefully the league don’t screw them over that night for special dispensation fc, as they won’t screw the mancs.

We simple have to do our jobs against wolves, who don’t have much to play for, and we could be sweet for our last home game - anything but a party for me, but I would rip your arms off to be home and dry before that final game comes around.

I'm beginning to shift my mindset on the draw.

A draw would be inconclusive, but still a step forward. It'd put us 3 points clear of Leicester, 2 clear of Leeds and eat into Forest's lead over us and get it to 1 point.

That'd mean that going into their penultimate games, Leicester would know if they lost against Newcastle that we'd need just a draw against B'mouth to hold them off on the final day; Newcastle would know that if they lost or drew at West Ham they'd require a win against Spurs if we drew against B'mouth; and Forest would know if they lost against Arsenal they also would require a win down at Palace if Everton got a draw against B'mouth.

A draw would pile pressure on our opponents and I'd bank on at least two of them cracking.

If we draw two games, Forest only need the point

My mindset is get it done this weekend and go all out for a win.
Both Leeds and Leicester play after us so both would have even more pressure on them.

We need to keep our destiny in our hands and a draw just might put us in the bottom 3 come Monday night.
That means the Bournemouth game is must win and that still might not be enough.

Wolves is a must 3 points because we play first, if we played last and the other 2 never won then yes a draw would be ok.

The timing of the games is crucial as in how each team approach it.

Didn't he hand in a transfer request an hour before the window closed to force a move through to Arsenal?

Knobhead

That deal was going ahead anyway

Well, it depends what you'd be looking to do really...of course we need
investment....in short-term we need money before transfer window closes
- and to appease the Bank.
Things are tighter than they have ever been....

I'm sure we are trying to win the game.
But maybe we aren't able to
So a draw might be the best we can get and it wouldn't be a total disaster .

Of course we are but if we are drawing at the 80 minute mark IMO we should go for it in the last 10.
Its unlikely both teams will win their next game but if one of them do and we dont then were in the relegation zone for the last game.

We don't want to be in the relegation zone on the last day, a win at Wolves guarantees were not.

A point is better then no point.
We will try win it but it's absolutely vital we don't lose

There is going for it and going for it though. If we are drawing late on and get all gung ho and lose that would be silly. If it happens organically while we are keeping shape but still attacking that is another thing.

If they are down to 10 men there might be a case of going all out for it. We just have to see what is in front of us at the time.

I am sure some Stathead can come up with the numbers but I recall reading somewhere that wolves score a high % of their goals in the last 15 as teams tire.
