Leeds United H
Aston Villa H
Nottingham Forest A

These three games. Maybe they won't be definitive but if we do well we have a good chance. If not then we are in deep trouble as the next 4................

Think it’s a straight shoot out between us and Leeds. Interesting to see who they get and what their reaction will be. If we do down, the decision not to sack Frank before the World Cup will be the reason for me.
...and banking the Gordon cash.

I disagree on the Leeds or us conclusion though.

People who believe West Ham or Wolves are out of this fight (or even Leicester) aren't paying attention to how terrible they've all been this season. Yes they had a boost in the last 2 games or so. But none of those three, or any club immediately above them, would have played as well as we did and got the win against an Arsenal team flying.

If we get any sort of result against Liverpool that lot will be bricking it about us.

Anyone below Villa are in it I feel.

Kip of Palace's form.

I think it’ll be a low bar this season. I reckon 5 wins and 3 draws from 17 games will just about do us. That’ll be 36 points.

Southampton, Bournemouth and Leeds to drop.

I think Palace will be dragged in with Forest. Leeds actually looked better than Forest the other day.

Surprised Leeds didn't score, second half was all one way traffic.

Forest have bang average players apart from maybe MGW and Brennan Johnson. But, they do have LOADS of bang average players so injuries wont be a worry.

I still think Forest are good for the drop though, their little run will come to an end very soon.

Monday is very important as well. It’s a derby so anything can happen but we must take advantage of the RS and their current form. If we strike first and early, it’s over. What a massive 3 points that would be, especially before hosting Leeds at Goodison.

Not a chance Leeds go down with that squad and a new manager bounce, IMO.

We needed them to stick with Jesse for another month or so. Forest have got a capitulation in them, for sure, and Palace are well on the slide. Can't see West Ham being in the fight at the end, but as a club they've got "too good to go down, but went down anyway" form.

Not so sure myself, I tend to think the opposite, as there's probably about 6 proper candidates for the drop. We need the Saints and Cherries to get cut adrift if possible, but can't see Wolves, Leicester or West Ham getting relegated and they're down there at the moment. Palace and Forest might come back into play, but they're a couple of wins ahead of us now. Not sure about Leeds, as they've got some good players.

Think they have left it to late imo for managers who will want the job. Will see when they play united if thr team has a reaction

I think Southampton and Bournemouth are the bottom two, Leeds depends who they hire, some massive risks been linked with them.

There will be a load of teams fighting against it this season,.I can't see anyone of the bottom 6/7 putting a mad run together just yet.

this is my take also…..

Itls all very fluid atm. Any team that puts back to back wins in or even 4 points from 2 games is immediately categorised as 'out of it'.

If we get a draw against Liverpool I certainly wont be thinking we're out of this mess. It would however hand our opponents a shot across the bow.
