I've priced in a defeat, possibly a heavy one, at Liverpool. Dyche has accepted a poisoned chalice. The following four games will show us whether he has the stomach for that poison or whether it'll be a slow-acting death sentence.

Liverpool are all over the place, they've lost their cohesion and don't look like getting back a t m.
Good chance for us but we've been there before. ?

I expect us to lose the derby with the negative focus on them they'll respond in the aftermath of last weekend. If they're struggling they always have var.

A draw would be a fantastic result under the circumstances. It would be great to build on the three points gained.

Saying that in more faint hope than expectation though.

I would imagine most people would have bitten your hand off if you offered 4 points from Arsenal and Liverpool, so a draw would be a good result, particularly considering the road to that point.

Saying that, my heart says...

There will be ups and downs but i think we will stay up under Dyche. He oozes experience and confidence with this kind of situation and i think he will know how to accumulate enough points out of the 17 remaining games to keep us safe. He is like a snooker player i.e a couple of shots ahead and has already been studying Leeds and will no doubt be looking at Villa before the Leeds game.
I expect the leeds game was more of an 'Everton' time out session then a tactical ploy.
He was probably just sat their hiding between the mass of fans just gaze'ing at the skyline and dreaming of his Sunday roast, not the football.
Escaping the task he has just taken on..

See the PL have rearranged our postponed Arsenal game earlier in the season to GW 25, the 1st of March, so we have Villa on the weekend and Arsenal the following Weds, then Forest away the following Sun.

So now we have:

Mordor A
Leeds H
Villa H
Arsenal (rearranged) A
Forest A
Brentford H

I agree they'll bounce back.

But they have their season defining games coming up soon against Real Madrid.

I'd like a few reducers thrown in early in the derby and see whether that lot are up for a traditional no holds barred derby.

I have a feeling Dyche will be getting into a few of our players with exactly that message.

Congratulations on wasting your own personal time going through someone's posting history to quote a post from nearly 2 years ago which is completely meaningless now. I could do the same with pretty much any poster here If i could actually be bothered to. Times change and so do people and their opinions, well most of us anyway.

You wanted Benitez before our current manager and a number of other managers.

I would accept the lose and apologise for the error of your ways.

So what. After a couple of months of Benitez i wanted him gone because he was absolutely crap. I didn't want Dyche this time either but got behind him when it was certain he was going to be appointed.

You bored tonight or what?
