Shelf Utd. They've had some luck in the last two games.

But any of this at the bottom can turn things around.

Don't fall for the 'we're fine even with a points deduction' BS. We are NOT.

You told us all to relax last season as Bournemouth wouldnt win another game and were already relegated. Think you've learned to cut that out.
I dont take anything for granted down there. Luton have a bit of fight in them and im happy right now to have a gap between the bottom 3.
Already starting to read a few cocky comments in this thread again like we're not in this anymore.

That's what I said!!!

They would want to get a move on then.. Luton who are currently 3rd from bottom after 12 games are on course for a 19 point season..

Tbf this was the table after 12 games last season :

Forest only had 9 points from first 12 but still miles better than the current three in the bottom.

Southampton were plodding along at a point a game and they'd have probably continued in that fashion if Hassenhuttl had stayed so that was a sacking that didn't work out as they plumetted from that point.

Surprised Bournemouth had as many as 13 points and indeed with the dismal defeat down there that meant they were on 16 points well before the halfway point of the season.

Later that day Leeds actually won at the pit and then beat Bournemouth the following week so they were on 15 points going into the world cup break.

What an incredible year Villa have had.

Naive/fraud Lampard had team at 11th this time last year so perhaps that's the best example of how things can implode for a manager as two months later he was a game from the sack pretty much.

Even if the promoted teams win a game or two in December they're still going to be considerably off what teams down there were getting this time last year. Most were going at a point a game and still 35 would've been enough in the end so 32-33 points and staying up seems a solid prediction currently.

Other thing to take is would be great to play Palace every week. Scored 3 goals against them three times in last four prem meetings!

I know dave. Thats why i said you've cut out the writing teams off. Forest and bournemouth looked the dead ducks last season. Look how that panned out.
Well given Davek hasn't actually said how realistic the bottom three getting over a ppg is. But it is not cocky backing your team. And funny you say Bournemouth and Forest as they were not in the bottom three after game week 20 or 33 hardly dead ducks @Gilbert..

Last season the relegation zone comprised of 9 teams and the bottom three last season had lots of quality look at the players sold to other clubs from Maddison to Ward-Prowse to Lavia.

And we beat them without a DCL for pretty much the whole season, and with Maupay upfront and Keane in defence. So yes I'm confident we will be okay this season.

KIn hell fella. You've a lot of time on your hands.
I didnt say either were in the bottom 3. They went on bad runs and were deemed dead ducks.
But i appreciate the work you put in there.

Just a good memory fella, how can teams be considered dead ducks if they not in the bottom 3?

As said before last season was a bit of a minor miracle in terms of staying up when you consider what the actual starting options were upfront for 80% of the season.

Dyche also made life much harder than it should've been by playing Keane in every single league match from March up to the start of May. If he'd dropped Coady and just picked Mina instead probably would've been safe after the Brighton win.

I took a long time to be convinced of Leicester's problems last season, just felt they had too much to actually go under.

Thought we would finish ahead of at least one of Forest and Bournemouth.

With that in mind, I confidently predict the three in the bottom places will be the three that go down. One will climb out at Forest's expense, briefly, before slipping back under.
