Reality is we are a centre back injury away from big big trouble. Failure to bring one in in the summer was a massive risk. We are a little more equipped to handle a DCL injury.

On the subject of injuries to key players, one of Luton's better players Issa Kabore went off after a suffering a seizure tonight. Let's not act like things don't happen to other squads, too.

Our first 11 for every game and we'd be fine.

But any injury - especially to Calvert-Lewin, Tarkowski or Branthwaite and our chances really take a hit.

The run of fixtures until the new year look really challenging and I think people are underestimating the role of pressure in a relegation scrap.

Fortunately that pressure for the immediate isn't too high as attention is outward but unless we have a great festive period for points I really fear for us.

It'll go down to the wire again unless we recruit very well in January.

We're too light and we've totally ballsed up the opportunity the early fixture list presented.
Big ask for Everton really, that's what makes the situation even worse. If we get any injuries to positions we already know we're light in we're defo waiting for the last possible millisecond to make any transfers, as it's the Everton way.

I’m not going to sit here and say we’ll stay up based on current form, an injury or two can knacker us. I doubt we’ll have much in the way of money to spend in January either. Pray that we keep DCL and the two centre backs fit and we should accumulate enough points
