Ferguson had nothing to offer. If he did we’d have beaten Villa. Running up and down the sideline is not a great look.
It's not, but villa are a much better side than Norwich and Ferguson didn't get completely outfought whereas benitez did. It's probably the biggest criticism I have of benitez. He let every team, regardless of their ability, dictate every aspect of our matches.

'All' managers lose some games.

That game was tight and a draw would have been a fair reflection of how both teams played.

I think you're drawing way too many conclusions from 'one' game of football.

Ancelotti lost to Sheffield Utd, does that mean he has nothing to offer any teams?

Newcastle is a massive Game, they will be up for it and rightly so but we have to take something out of that game, even a point as they are just as desperate for a win. Then we must win our next home game against Leeds. If we take 4 points from the next 2 games I think our outlook is different.

Can't believe the dopes who have been clamouring for ferguson to manage us. He scored no more than about 30 goals for us and we treat him like an all time great. Shows how far we've fallen.

He's been coaching the team for years and suddenly people are going on about how he might bring some passion and desire to the team as if he hasn't had the chance to do that before.

He's got to move on. It's embarrassing.

He has wasted valuable time when he could of experienced real management. Like Rooney and Arteta, both much younger, with clubs of there own now, at Duncans age he could of gained real experience

We could have even gave him the U23 job, it worked for Gerrard (who was the RS U18 boss) in getting the Rangers job

Duncan Ferguson being a good manager has to be the biggest delusion on this forum. Hes passionate about the club and thats it. We beat Chelsea because goodison was rocking not because of Duncan.

Have to say, a team with Pickford, Mina, Doucoure, Gray, Richarlison, Van de Beek, DCL and Dele Alli should not be getting relegated.
