We do. Then the players decide they can’t be bothered to implement it in games. Every manager we’ve had recently has said the same. What they see in training is not displayed in match days.

Part of the problem is communication. Keane for example, he doesn’t strike me as vocal at all, giving orders and organising with back four and goalkeeper looks non existent.

Modern football is a sham...
If I was this poor at my job I'd be sacked...
If I showed this little care and effort I'd be getting disciplinary action constantly until I was gone...
This group of wasters known that no matter what they do they'll be paid an ungodly sum most of us couldn't dream of...
If they go down a lower prem or newly promoted side will probably pay money for them so they don't suffer...

I wonder how many of the posters who said they couldn't give a toss about the cup game are now the ones losing their heads on this thread
Taking a deep breath and here goes............
First game I can recall whereby I am actually pleased we got beat and will not progress any further.
Anyone watching us this season with all that's happened who thinks having another game against probably City, Chelsea or that lot would have been a good thing needs to wise up.
Nothing in that performance shows we will maintain PL status without three worse teams.

Indeed, Brentford are right in the mire if we can pick a few points up here and there. Our last home game is going to be crucial.
We'll effectively relegate them if we beat them at home and pick up another couple of wins.

Their run in gets worse and worse.

I've been baging on about Brentford for days and maybe some more people will begin to see why: 3 games in hand over them and they have a 5 point lead with hardly any games I see them picking up maximum points in.

Those who think we're fine now as long as we pick up points against Burnley and Watford need to remember that we've picked up 1 point away from home since October.

We're an absolute disgrace, without Mina we'll struggle to get anything from any away games.

This defence would struggle in the championship.

Need to bung big Yerry £10m and fill him to the brim with cortisone.
If he can give us 6 games between now and the end of the season we have a chance, if he doesnt play again we will only stay up if Burnley and Watford both fail to put any kind of run together.

….much prefer to be in Brentford or Leeds position with 4 or 5 more points on the board despite playing 3 games more.

Starting to look like 2 out of Burnley, Watford and Everton will drop along with Norwich.
That is definitely the case and to be honest people talk about playing Burnley and Watford away as a positive but for me it's more of a negative as we could end up giving both of them a step up they need.
Can anyone really trust these players not to bottle both games?

I can’t see us getting 5 points in our next three games. So it’s highly likely we’ll be a few points behind Leeds and Brentford at the 30 game mark.

Brentford’s run in is tough but they might only need 4 points from the 8 games to be safe, maybe even less. We could be looking at needing 6 or 7.

….I think we’ll lose both. Folk continue to say the players are bottling it but I think that’s a lazy excuse. I thought the attitude was fine for 20 minutes or so.

As well as continued poor selection, I think this is lots to do with tactics that actually expose players weaknesses. A good manager will initially look to make us hard to beat, to negate the negatives, mitigate the risks.

i actually think Lampard has to take a lot of the blame & it concerns me he sets us up as though we are a good team.
