This list is from the 6/10, so he's the second longest serving manager.Really?
I am genuinely surprised.
The thing is the football isn't poor, going forward it is brilliant, as good as anyone else you care to mention. Trouble is the results. They're two different things. For me, he has until next December to turn it around, but if the football continues to be as poor as it has been over the past 18 months then he definitely needs to go.

Keep the manager until someone who can do a better job becomes available. Or else be careful what you wish for lads.
I'm colour blind.third, after hughes
Thought some of DaveK's recent non Martinez posts had some validity i.e. that we were better defensively with Galloway & Browning. One thing that's noticeable to me is a lot of our fans think we have the two best full backs in the league. We haven't. Maybe 2/3 years ago they were but they aren't anymore
It saddens me to say it chang because they've both been such good players but I thought they were very poor last season and although coleman has improved slightly this season.hes not been good enough at either end of the pitchThought some of DaveK's recent non Martinez posts had some validity i.e. that we were better defensively with Galloway & Browning.

BTW, has there ever been an Everton manager who's had to endure a match by match referendum on his status as Everton manager almost since he's been here?
It gets through to the media and from them to the players and must be a nightmare to deal with each week unless there's a lull in it.
The feller's been treated like a red headed step child from day one and it's absolutely shameful.
@chicoazul 's jibe about an X-Factor generation at work is 100% bang on the money - trial by a million wannabe chairmen week in week out.
Get behind the man and his team...and give them the proper credit they deserve for playing the football they're trying to do. The players and manager are a credit to this club.

Yes but don't forget that you mean nearly 3 seasons on from that point and I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that agrees they are at that same level. To me Coleman's best season was Martinez's first so does he get the credit for that (I don't know who to credit for that)? I'm all for a frank assessment of what is happening but to me saying none of it is the players fault is as foolish as saying none of it is Martinez's fault. Most teams are better defensively when they play 4 centrebacks and two holding mids. Moyes left undoubtedly the best full back pair in the league gifted in attack and defence. They are both far too good a players to take the blame for Martinez's joke defences. A bit like Stones. It's not the players. No doubt there's some convincing the masses we have one of the poorest squads in the league.!
