Mentality has been a problem at the club for such a long time now. The problem is the lack of competition for places means Richarlison knows he can take the mick knowing his starting spot isnt under threat if he comes back knackered weeks after the season has already begun.

Go get Wilf and put the LW/RW starting spots under serious threat.

Couldn’t believe the gall of “giving us one more season” under Ancelotti. He then proceeded to be absolutely dump for most the season. Here’s a radical idea Richie, play better, win us more points, and we’ll finish higher up so you don’t have to leave.

Definitely a good player to sell if we want to cash in and reinvest.
 

I really like richy but he's massively overrated and certainly not good enough to be making demands. One tournament is enough in the summer. Like i say if we get cover not as bad but still
 
Ancellotti pandered to him. He didn’t have the balls to say your best position is left midfield, so that’s where you will be playing, and it led to this daft 5-3-2 formation that didn’t suit the team and didn’t even suit Richarlison.

But then he shouldn't come crying that he wants european football because at this stage if he goes to the olympics its guarantee to have an impact on our start of the season and possibly then another disappointing season overall.
 

I have a pet theory that national sides from the Americas and Asia underperform relative to their talent level, due to the difficulties of pulling their sides together over international breaks and the performance impact from travel.

He's Brazilian and it's his National team, I don't expect a whole lot of rationality when it comes to this stuff...
