2021/22 Richarlison

Not doubting his sources it’s clearly someone inside the club giving him chapter and verse but it makes the club look ridiculous while he enjoys his ego being massaged ,and he gets the backing of eveyone despite Everton losing 21 out of 38

Yep and his podcast concierge acting smug during the whole issue.

What he is worth to us is £200m. Arguably he is priceless. But that does not mean anything.

We have to sell to fund a rebuild. Spurs know this.

Richarlison has only 2 years left on his deal and wants to leave. Spurs know this.

No other club is seriously interested at this stage. I'm sure Spurs know that too.

Basically we have an asset that we need to sell and they are the only buyer. They hold all the cards.

Richarlison could weaken our position further by publicly saying he wants to leave but hopefully it won't come to that.

£50-£60m is a fair price based on all of that.
How do you know no other clubs are interested?

Also when richarlison thinks about leaving, spurs will be at Bottom of his thinking.

We will get 40next summer we won’t sell for 50 not a chance. And Stones but a transfer request in as did Zaha. Means nothing.

Spurs will also know that a Chelsea, utd or maybe a psg, Madrid will blow them out the water. They thought they held the cards for Diaz until Liverpool stepped in. Seen loads of spurs fans moaning about dithering Daniel haggling over fees, he will try the same tactics with richarlison.

And we could easily be 60/70m better off with the likes of moise kean, out of contracts players and a few other players. That easily gets us a Couple of frees and loans. And maybe 2x 25m youngsters. We were in a worse position last summer and didn’t sell.

Anything other than the Premier League is considered a weak league these days. And although it is true that the Premier League is the best, you can not completely write off achievements in La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Primeira Liga or Eredivisie.

Sancho had 94 goals / assists in 122 games across 3 years, starting from when he was 18 at Dortmund. He was also playing well regularly in the Champions League from a young age. One bad season at Man United, a team that has been struggling, does not make him a bad player and he will improve a lot this season under Ten Hag.

For comparison, Richarlison has had 55 goals / assists in 135 games across 4 years, and he's now 25. Again, it is not bad but you could not compare it with the Sancho deal as a yardstick.

You have a very vivid imagination mon ami.
You dont know any of this & fwiw neither do we.

If he has a stormer of a world cup , and there's every chance playing for Brazil his worth absolutely rockets with 18 months left on his contract.

If we sell @50mil we would look pretty stupid. The screams on here would be unmerciful.

I can’t wait for the bloke who’s feeding him this inside info to be given the boot , makes the club look like a joke

Last season everyone was creaming over him releasing the team news way before anyone else , we won 29% of our games

It was the team news leaks which was bad.

They’re nearly all exactly the same. Football is life and death in Liverpool so anyone with a bit of inside knowledge gets treated as some more of messiah. It’s so cringey to watch but I always enjoy their inevitable downfall.

They don’t care about the club and the leaking of team news proves it. It’s all about them and their followers. You can make a good living out of this sort of thing now if you stick with it for long enough.

Two of those flops have won the Champions League. One has won a PL title and two other pots and helped reached 2 CL finals too.

Don't think any of them are amazing and they definitely cost too much. Haaland might need a bit of time to get going but he's a brilliant player.
Ha ha
Kieta definitely was a big reason Liverpool won the league and champions league

Given the fact it’s obvious we need to sell to buy then no club is going to pay a ridiculous valuation. We’ll be fortunate to get 100 million for both Richarlison and DCL. We are a basket case club and we will just have lick our wounds on this one as we have to sell one or both. It’s all about how we start investing going forward. Purchases like Deli Ali and potentially Winks would suggest we are not learning.

What’s Sancho’s stats in the same league? Playing for a better team. Richarlison also has a better record for his country, more that twice a better record.

What do you think utd would get this summer if they put him up for sale?

Social media is a virus and their dopamine is that.

They’re two totally different things

Problem with fees is the big ones have dropped off a cliff since the start of COVID, as you can see... The year before COVID there were players like Ndombele and Jovic going for more than £52M, now there are hardly any... And the ones that are are normally top players going to top clubs. Not sure a club would look at Richarlison, with two years left on his deal and think that paying more than that would be good value.

Can’t wait for him to move to Spurs only for them to see the ‘serial diver’ shout is actually more of ‘he gets the crap kicked out of him’
He does stay on the floor for too long once he’s been chopped - but that’s a totally separate issue.
Kane is one of the worst in the league for going down over nothing so it’ll be fun to see the narrative change for Richy

Oh mate please stop thinking weird conspiracies.

Arsenal overpaid for Pepe. Dortmund named their price for Sancho, who had scored/assisted up to like 25 goals in each of the last 2-3 seasons.

I love Richarlison. I'm just aware of where we are as a club financially. It all has to be taken into account.

I think if he does go, we should get at least £60m for him. I think that's a fair valuation of his quality. It would also allow us to bring in 4-5 players that are much-needed.

I agree in that in "real economics" he isn't worth say £75-80 million but neither are most players sold for those fees truth be told.

If he wasn't our best player and we had a squad of quality akin to the latter Moist years or early Martinez years I would agree £60 million wouldn't be "awful" business but the reality is we need to sort our books oot and have the dough to rebuild the team.

No team sells their best player for a fair value you'll always have to over pay and Spurs have money they are just tight arses.
