Roast dinners

Going to my brother's tomorrow for Easter dinner. Now he's gone all middle- class, with a 'wine cellar' in his kitchen, we're not having roast lamb/chicken/beef or pork. No, it's beef bourguignon, dauphinoise potatoes and curly kale.
Dread to think what the pud is.

Am I the only one who isn't really a fan of roasts? Sure I will eat them and don't dislike them, but it is never something that I would choose, ask for or look forward to.

Just about to have my first roast in about 2 months. Salivating in anticipation here!

When you don't have them every Sunday it makes you appreciate them a bit more.

Cooked an ace roast turkey earlier. Pigs in blankets, bread sauce, thick gravy, boss sticky roast spuds, veg and stuffing.

We probably ate about 20% of the flaming turkey though, so will be a bit sick of it by Thursday.

I'm gutted.

Fancied cooking myself a roast when i got up today, was then about to head to ASDA before i remembered they weren't open today so couldn't get the required ingredients.

Koff jesus, why couldn't you have come back to life on a different day when the shops were open!
