a few poor results"?? You do realise this has been going on for nearly two years now! Everton finished 11th last year, up to now have won four, (yes four!!) league games at home this season which includes Villa, Newcastle and Sunderland! Currently we sit in 12th, oh and the game in hand you mentioned in another post is away at A*****d three days before the semi final!
This is not just a few poor results!

did you use a rude version of the name of their stadium or is it blocked by the filter.

I really hope its blocked by the filter

It is a horrible thought, Martinez on the pitch at Wembley beaming with pride at his 'achievements'.

No it isn't a "horrible thought".

Any Evertonian should be delighted at the thoughts of their manager, whether they like him or not, "beaming with pride" on the Wembley pitch after winning the Cup.

Because we all want to be "beaming with pride" at Wembley.....on the pitch and off it.

Some of these comments are getting plain ridiculous now.

Seriously, Zat.....losing three games in a row and taking no points from the nine on offer is indeed the "stuff of nightmares".

Especially when two of those games were at home.

And even more especially when no one can see where the next win is coming from.

How many consecutive matches must we lose before it becomes the stuff of nightmares for you?

It's the performances which are the stuff of nightmares, the last two games have been two of the worst performances I've seen from us. Our opponents didn't have to get out of first gear in either, our players body language is appalling and they aren't even willing to battle for the shirt anymore. Zat is looking at things in a far too black and white way, literally just looking at the score line and the opponent and going "ah well, it could have been worse". No, it's not like that at all

It was the arsenal game, i honestly come away from that match thinking it was the most frightening performance i have seen from an Everton team in a long long time.

No fight, no desire - arsenal won easy and am not even sure they got into first gear. it was pathetic. Utd was slightly better - but still we were way under average.

It was the Arsenal game which made me fully believe everything isn't right in the squad and behind closed doors.

The thought of it makes me angry after the League performances. I'd rather let an interim be on the history books. Just go now fraud.

I want Everton to win this pot more than anything, but I don't think Martinez deserves too take the glory it will bring.

It's inevitable. Happens all the time when a wealthy owner comes to a football club.
I'm thinking this guy has bought into an ideal. Can see him looking about to see if there is a manager who fits. Which to my mind will be an improved version rather than change for the sake of it. And I think it'll be done in a timescale that indicates he has confidence in the club and doesn't make quick decisions.

Stan Collymore said earlier, if you replace Lovren, Sakho and Mignolet with Huth, Morgan and Schmeichel they would be kicking on for top 4. It got me thinking if these minor changes we had, let's just say Huth and Morgan, two no nonsense defenders, we would be fighting it out for the title! I think Collymore only mentioned Liverpool because they were playing tonight but if Everton had those tweaks....

Not complete Channel 5 fodder from big Stan for once. He's right in that Leicester back 4 is simple, consistent, experienced and effective, yes. But Mahrez, Kante and Vardy also had outstanding seasons - mostly injury free interestingly. Backed up by unsung guys working hard in simple roles - Ozinaki, Simpson, Drinkwater etc, ( excuse spelling :) Great blend of experience and pacey youth too. They've played great at a time when the Sky 4 are in flux (shocking mgt) with Euro and or FA cup commitments. Great times for them, I think everyone's loving it frankly.

It does highlight Everton's shocking team balance - uncertainty in goal, Jags out a bit, Stones and Mori inexperienced, Coleman mis-firing a bit. Midfield - NO GOV'NOR, lots of rotation of players. Martinez basically hasn't addressed the Moyes back 4. He bought well in Lukaku. That's it.

And at £28m it wasn't exactly a shot in the dark

I tend to agree with you mate. As I said a bit earlier, Martinez is with us for the long haul and his leaving our club will be on his decision, not 'ours'.
And whilst I'm not hugely enamoured of this reality, I've accepted it.

That's been where I've been at for well before Martinez. There's been nobody I've been inspired by but it's best to get on board unless it really does look like they'll take us down

You're right, it's not been good enough. Especially the home form this season. There has been positives though and I don't think he should be booted just yet.

That's just my opinion though, and I accept he seems to have lost the fan-base almost entirely, and it's gonna be incredibly difficult for him to turn it around now. Hope he does though.....
