It's the performances which are the stuff of nightmares, the last two games have been two of the worst performances I've seen from us. Our opponents didn't have to get out of first gear in either, our players body language is appalling and they aren't even willing to battle for the shirt anymore. Zat is looking at things in a far too black and white way, literally just looking at the score line and the opponent and going "ah well, it could have been worse". No, it's not like that at all
Called lack of ambition pal and he clearly has it in bucket loads

I tend to agree with you mate. As I said a bit earlier, Martinez is with us for the long haul and his leaving our club will be on his decision, not 'ours'.
And whilst I'm not hugely enamoured of this reality, I've accepted it.

We'll see about that soon won't we

I refuse to get hot under the collar regarding Martinez's managerial capabilities (and thus Everton's performance). He isn't going anywhere anytime soon so I suggest others don similar asbestos collar.

:D:D

I think hes a manager who needs to get in top players to fit his system and compete.

Id give him the summer and see how things are going next season.

I stopped responding to Davek , and I ain't far off stopping responding to you you may be pleased to hear! What on earth makes you think that "top players" are going to look at a team that almost certainly (I'm sad to say!) is going to finish a similar level or worse than than they did last season! Those "top players" you allude to will look at Lukaku, Stones, Mirallas and others possibly all leaving at the end of this, and look at where this team under this manager has finished again! Hardly the greatest "come and join us" advert in the world for top players!
May be that's how it works on FIFA Manager 2016! Bye for the foreseeable!

Agree as he wouldn't want a sacking and a relegation on his cv. Think his own decision will come very soon to be honest. 2 fa cups on his cv and he's in dreamland, that's when he will walk.

That's been where I've been at for well before Martinez. There's been nobody I've been inspired by but it's best to get on board unless it really does look like they'll take us down
If we did get relegated I would be disappointed if Roberto then turned around and said 'the job is beyond me now' (like he did at Wigan). Like you, I think he needs to remain our helmsman, even more so in the choppy waters of the championship league.

You're right, it's not been good enough. Especially the home form this season. There has been positives though and I don't think he should be booted just yet.

That's just my opinion though, and I accept he seems to have lost the fan-base almost entirely, and it's gonna be incredibly difficult for him to turn it around now. Hope he does though.....

not that many positives and if his comments are to be believed the biggest positive will be on his way soon.

No it isn't a "horrible thought".

Any Evertonian should be delighted at the thoughts of their manager, whether they like him or not, "beaming with pride" on the Wembley pitch after winning the Cup.

Because we all want to be "beaming with pride" at Wembley.....on the pitch and off it.

Some of these comments are getting plain ridiculous now.

Not so mate. Been supporting us since the 60's so I need anyone to be telling me how to do that thanks. Yes I want us to win the cup (though personally think there's next to zero chance with this fool in charge.) Do I relish the thought of Martinez feeling smug and happy at the end of this season? You might fella, but not me. I want him gone and have been saying so since December 2014.

Unless we suffer heavy Derby and Semi Final defeats I think he will have another season, I am not renewing next season as I am doing other stuff and can't be bothered with him. If he went and we got another manager in, i would probably changed my mind.
