I agree, he has to go. Just wondering how much it will reduce our transfer budget by.

I think there may well be performance related clauses in the contract that means we can bin him at the end of the season
If we were going to pay him off we should have done it a while back, not worth the money now 4 games to go
The club can buy him a seiko watch and get rid .... 4 people at leaving do some pop and crisps make him feel special ...

I've no idea what is going on at Finch Farm but the players don't seem to give a crap. Martinez is a dead man walking and I fear we are going to waste a great opportunity in the Semi Final.........

I still can't quite understand how loads of us got taken in so easily(myself included)...thinking he could, with our better player's get us flying up the league

When he came in he said the kind things we were craving. He talked of success and glory. Words we'd been deprived of for so long and we lapped it up. He's played us all with his garbage. Agree we cant be going down this route for our next appointment. Moyes was a necessity at the time and it worked out well given the resources. Martinez has no excuses given the resources he's had when compared. Need a winner now.

How many times did an RS players pick the ball up 25-30 yards from our goal and not one of our players near them?. It's like we got a flat back 8 when we defend it's ridiculous.

There is no defensive cover anywhere. The players act like they are told to do what comes naturally, with no plan as to what that is.

Considering the manager has self confessed not practicing set pieces, doesn't care about conceding and won't change his ways it is just suicidal to even consider he can go and beat an even better Team in 3 days. The players just haven't got a clue what to do anymore.

Mate, I've been wanting him to go for years. I saw through him ages ago. And having thought about it, the people saying "Can it get worse" and talking about the atmosphere if he remains until the end of the season have a very good point, and are probably right. But the thought of being managerless doesn't make me feel great either. Every single news report will start with... Managerless Everton.

I concede it may be for the best, but it isn't an appetising prospect at all. It will make me feel like it's 1997 again but without the boss tunes.

True, but I never expected a performance like that in a derby. That's the shocking aspect which proves that he's lost virtually everything around him.

I've been with my missus whose a Kopite for 16 years, a proper red I would say in the sense that she's slightly less delusional than the rest of them bells ( most of the time ). Even she conceded that was the easiest derby she can ever remember and the most gutless from us. I can't remember a more gutless display where the scruffs have basically had target practice all game even against 11 men.
