That is essentially what I have been saying in my posts as well, on here and the Moshiri thread.

I'm growing increasingly suspicious of him. It may turn out to be unfounded but if I had just spent £100 mill, or whatever it is, and since then everything has turned to pure mush I'd be stamping my authority all over it. Yet all we get is silence and maintaining the status quo.

I keep coming back to this thread ...... and I'm amazed....

I'm not amazed .......at the lack of an announcement yet..... feel it would have been disrespectful based on other more important things in the news over the last few days....

I'm not amazed.... at the fact we don't know who's coming in yet....

I'm not even amazed ..... that some of the Rags are linking us to Hughes..... papers print almost anything

What I'm really amazed at .........is how many people want to convince themselves that Bob's staying.....

Mosh...... is not Bill in disguise

Pellegrini has already put on record his preference for staying in the Premier League and also his previous desire for a challenging project rather than a gimme (I think EFC come into the category of "challenging"!). I could just about swallow keeping RM till the end of the season, provided it keeps MP sweet...

I personally thought he should have been sacked on Monday morning at the latest to show that results (and performances) were unacceptable.

He may as well see the season out now, although I imagine the last two games at Goodison will have an unpleasant atmosphere and may not be as well attended as normal.

I think I will be slightly annoyed if he goes before the end of the season now as the time to do it as a statement of intent has passed, and we are meandering towards the finish line without hope of achievement.

I don't doubt for a second we will start next season with a new manager in place. Whoever it may be needs a winning mentality, we have talented players who seem psychologically frail on the cusp of glory.
