By all means IF there's a fortune to spend then go out and replace Martinez. The thing is though - and you know it - during the summer we would struggle to get a top class manager in. Even a Koeman wouldn't touch this place with a bargepole given the atmosphere created by the social media mafia and their numb nuts friends in the media.

I'll state categorically now that we're more likely to end up with an Eddie Howe type from the continent than a truly distinguished winner of a manager - an industry leader. W all KNOW it. The stuff being bandied about now about a top class manager if we can get martinez out is pure propaganda...if not, let's get down to brass tacks here and hear from @The Esk what sort of man we can expect that will certainly kick us on......

So there was only a few daft fans with "bedsheets" before who were protesting after the match, but now it's a "social media mafia" who are out to get Martinez.

Take a look at the poll at the top of the page mate, he is in his dying days.

But we're looking for trophy winners now. We have the cash. We just need the industry leading managerial brands to line up for inspection.

Unfortunately all I'm hearing is Koeman and De Boer.
De Boer is a trophy winner, both as a player and a manager.

No, it isnt. If Pellegrini, as your example, came here, and we progressed within a similar trend that City did with him, then that would be a good thing.

In the exact same way that clubs at serious risk of relegation call Pulis or Allerdyce.

Managers have trends. That trend is generally similar at all the clubs they manage, with the amount of cash/talent at their disposal being the parameter within where they actually finish.

In short, Pellegrini, your example, would get more out of a £200m squad than Martinez.
to be honest we'd still have a lot of money left over with a different big name manager he wouldn't have to spend big if he kept lukaku stones Barkley deleufoleu here just better organization and tactics would be a start

So anyway, this "top manager" that's "defo" coming in during the summer:

we have Koeman and De Boer and eddie Howe and Mark Hughes to choose from.

Moshiri must be selling his metal company shares off to fund one of those for the certain glory they'll bring.

They all probably have the required *ahem* "skill sets" and erm "stuff like that".

Dave, Dave, Dave...

Here's lies the problem mate, you aren't consistant, far from it in fact, on the one hand you slate the board for lack of ambition, on the other you constantly deride us and effectively say we are follish for having any ambition,

You slate Kenwright for years, then you suddenly quote him in glowing terms because he says something you like, lack of consistancy.

Not to mention the fact you constantly 'misread' and this misquote stats always in a favourable light for your argument.

Take this win % thing, 3rd is Martinez? - really? If you know your history then i suggets you look that little stat up again mate, then come back and say the actual position in the list of Everton Managers he comes in at, and it isn't 3rd

Also lets take Kendall as an example, has a higher win % than Martinez, and was sacked twice, because his win % was heavily loaded in his first spell and tailed off massively in his second and third spells , bit like Martinez but in 3 years not 3 spells at the club

Yes, if he stayed he couldn't finish bottom half again with a large cash injection.

Goes without saying.
Didn't need any cash injection this season. Bought an absolute dud in Niasse and tactically showed us and all the other teams in the prem his flaws in managing and coaching skills.
