Sorry mate but we are. You can't erase over a hundred years of history, which not only would be a heresy against the people who carved it but a complete capitulation to those who view us as a small club. We are still that Everton and always will be but to return to success you need to take the steps necessary to achieve it.
 
Can just imagine him if we beat Leicester "it's a phenomenal achivment for us to beat the league champions, it shows what we have managed to achieve with all the hard work we have put in this season and the potential we have within the group"

At least for a while we were competing at the level of: "Best of the rest". Now it's best of 11th place.

What is it the likes of you & @davek don't get about regression?

We will always be that Everton. Everyone has got money now and it's time to stop feeling sorry for ourselves and remember just who we support. When we start to demand success and stop believing that 4th is a result, then we will get back to winning trophies....

Well when the PL began, Utd were crap, Chelsea were crap, City were crap and Spurs were crap.....

you said it makes no difference if you finish 5th or 15th? So if league placing is a target but in your words, placing doesn't matter, then that is a contradictory statement which kinda rubbishes your argument.

Aw, poor bobby. Couldn't even manage to challenge in the top 10 for 2 from 3 seasons, so now YOU (and you alone) are dictating terms of any new manager.
