Not really. As tactfully as he could, he merely said that the club start preparing for each transfer window immediately after the previous one closes.

I think it's fairly evident he is being careful not to say anything conclusive about next season.

Like i said, its well known The signing of stones was mainly down to the persistence of the scout, most of th senior coaching staff didn't fancy him and moyes had only seen him once or twice, fair enough he took the risk and trusted his guy.
The others you list were all signed having already played multiple seasons at their previous clubs and at a good level.

Not a short memory at all. Moyes played everybody out of position, he drove me insane at times. That's nothing to do with what we're talking about though.

I'm not here to defend Moyes as a manager in general, just saying some of the criticisms you made him of him in your recent posts simply don't stand up to any level of scrutiny.

I'm gonna clutch at straws like but from that martinez clip he was asked if your planning for august and he doesn't exactly say yes, he just says from when he arrived here the plan was to always think about the next windows after one closes, which is an honest answer because he would of had targets in mind from january but knows he won't be here in august to get them ...........
