When?
In that period, we only beat the three worst teams in the league in Villa, Newcastle and Sunderland. We didn't win a league game in the month before Christmas.
We looked good tho.
You gotta admit.

Winning the bottom 3?
It doesn't matter. It's not important for what we're discussing. Of course he's lied. But how does that affect the pov that he'll continue to back rather than sack a manager...especially after backing the goon Smith and his relegation scares? No answer to if you think Bill Kenwright tells the truth or is someone who has consistantly lied then i see Dave?
I'm not bothered by them, I'm bemoaning the fact they are there in the place of actual cogent argument.Insults - i said you sound silly mate and petulant - pretty sure your skin is thicker than the fake outrage and hurt you express ^^
Article i copy/pasted shows that a rigning endorsement is relatively meaningless - your own blue bill gave one and sacked the manager the same season, now he isn't even the one calling the major decisions so what he says has even less wiegth to it - can always hide behind the fact it wasn't his decision so can luvvy it up all he wants can't he?
as for your points
1. only 2 of whom are actually starting - 2 others have been banished to the bench and one to the under 21s, the ones whove fallen out of favour have been due to 1 being a dfeneder he has regressed and another who is a wigner he dropped because defensively we are a shambles, 2 of the best 3 young players want to leave the club - so yeah martinez has been stellar mate
2. No we haven't competed well mate, no team that has won 4 and lost 8 games at home can be considered to have competed well in any universe, competing int he cup doesnt matter - winning it does, teams roll up to Goodison expecting 3 point now - that's his big achievement
3. so we are now effectively a team that should strive for 38/40 points and safety so we can focus on the cups, nice to see that ambition mate
4. The man who used to run the club and has now sold it
Honestly mate we win the cup and no amount of vaulting will bring me down, you'd simply be wasting skin cells.
Im a simple win with simple aims.
I stand with you on this point. Winning the cup would be fantastic if it actually occurred and Martinez would rightly deserve credit for that success. No mate, it wouldn't change a thing.
11th last season and sth like 12th are not enough to boot him out?Not to mention a winning rate of 31% since Aug 2014.
Lawrence will only be gone the day when Martinez is sacked.
Cant believe people are willing to accept the short termism that an FA cup would bring.
BIGGER PICTURE
I don't accept that. I hate fences that much if a house had one I wouldn't buy it. Martinez out. Never wanted him never will really want him, but we'd be hard pushed to get rid of Him after winning a Cup, plus it'd give an ENTIRE generation of Evertonians one of the best days of their lives. He'd deserve a bit of free reign on that alone, plus he's better in the in the 'off-season' than he is during. Which isn't hard as he's useless during.Or well disguised fence-sitting, a tactic of which I'm often admittedly guilty.
