Doesn't go

Shocked at the home support.

Amazing scenes - I'm surprised Dave even bothered to log into a multi

Wow, that's a stupid stick to beat someone with. So what, he tried to make a living away from the game in the event that he may at some point get a career ending injury and it wasn't a success, these things happen. Not sure what that has to to with what he does on the pitch

"First to admit they'd underperformed".

He - and Martinez - doesn't have a pattern of behaviour to suggest this level of humility.

Not sure what you're struggling with here

I mentioned other day that Pienaarhad a run in with Martinez,it seems he has now gone public,in questioning him why he has been overlooked, could this be the start of the end for Martinez ?

Go watch us play at home and tell me that the atmosphere is what it used to be, go on lad.

Look at our home/away record this season and tell me there's nothing wrong with the home support.

Go on lad.

Ive been saying it for months and ive been going to Goodison for 30+ years now, never seen it so bad, its a toxic wasteland for our players.

The team tries to build attacks, granted its slow and ponderous, but its the style and it is what it is, if ANYBODY plays a ball even remotely sideways the groans and the abuse of that player starts. The players are scared to try things, cos the groans and the abuse starts.

This isnt when we are getting beat, it even happens when we are winning games.

People simply dont understand, sometimes you need to go backwards, sometimes you need to stand on the ball and wait for things to happen. Its here to stay as well, it aint going away and the only way it will change is to change the manager, certain sections of the crowd do not want Martinez anymore and they make those feelings known.

Surely he's still a better option on the left wing than Kone, Cleverly or the unproven Niasse

Niasse, Jesus, I know comparing Martinez to Moyes is getting played out but usually when Everton spend 13 million on a player you expect a starting player. We'd be all over Moyes over this. Things are so bad the Niasse thing is taking a back seat. Bringing him on as a time waster sub.

Lynch the poor 'er for trying to do something for charity.

Pity he didn't announce it was for charity when he launched it, it may have done a bit better.

Wonder why he didn't. Shame really, wasted his clearly pure intentions.

How do you know personally that the lad doesn't? What are you basing it on? A failed business/charity venture? The disgraceful petition that was started wanting him not to be selected for his country?

Actually, going to say it.

Due to academic commitments, I've been unable to attend Goodison Park as much as I'd like.

On the rare occasion I make the 240 mile trip to the Stadium, I'm shocked at how bad the home support is. Used to be that we'd get on top of the opposition, now we're too busy screaming at our own and posting dank memes on Twitter about how jarg it is to be a Everton supporter.

The support at Goodison Park is crap.

Neg me, but you know it's true.
Let's just say a handful of supporters. But even then you'll get stick for daring suggest that within tens of thousands of fans there are some that are not great.
Obviously the ones that suggest this are not fans so it's okay to say they are idiots. Or put it another way fans saying that fans have an impact are the only bad fans. It's okay to blame those fans but not 'fans'. Following?
