Player Valuation: £40m
Two cup semis in a year.
Taking us down, be funked.
Moving in the right direction. Look at how strong the PL is this season. A team with a £50m striker is struggling to get into the top 4 FFS.

What I think as well.Totally agree and it smacks of desperation from someone completely unable to see his own failings and could well endanger the fragile relationship (I would assume) he has with his players at the moment.
Its 1 of many factors.
The style
Our league position
The tempo
Our league form
Cheers for that answer mate.
I honestly think we miss a snide mate, or a cahill type who can get the fans behind them just seem to lack anyone who can get the fans 1. up for it, and 2. the fans can get right behind, been said we are just too nice and its spot on we need a nasty arse in this team
This is not a defence of RM, who I want to see gone, but this is the age of hype, bling, mindless celebrity, breaking news, instant social media updates and delusional self-entitlement, for many 'young people' there is nothing of substance or depth to what they do, and they are simply not equipped with the necessary patience and mental fortitude to cope with getting through a game of football that is not going well. An inability to see the bigger picture or make rational judgements means the only likely outcome is them screaming at how unfair it all is. It is society's problem, not just Everton's.
Ive been saying it for months and ive been going to Goodison for 30+ years now, never seen it so bad, its a toxic wasteland for our players.
The team tries to build attacks, granted its slow and ponderous, but its the style and it is what it is, if ANYBODY plays a ball even remotely sideways the groans and the abuse of that player starts. The players are scared to try things, cos the groans and the abuse starts.
This isnt when we are getting beat, it even happens when we are winning games.
People simply dont understand, sometimes you need to go backwards, sometimes you need to stand on the ball and wait for things to happen. Its here to stay as well, it aint going away and the only way it will change is to change the manager, certain sections of the crowd do not want Martinez anymore and they make those feelings known.
I don't think it's all younger supporters, I'm pretty convinced many of the outlandish views on here are from middle aged people too, just the natural reaction when you read such posts is to jump the conclusion that they're probably young, when the reality is they're probably just retarded...
Demanding that fans happy clap the worst home season in our entire history, 'sake.
Absolutely. But when an example is given and it doesn't add up what would be the purpose of not commenting on it?
Not a single player even threw a tackle in on Saturday.
We played non contact football, I was ashamed.
Leicester are ale house though !What, like Leicester being an ale house team? Remember when you said that? the team that are actually going to be in the CL next season and look like lifting the title. Remember how we all told you that it wasn't a flash in the pan, but you wouldn't have it would you?
Just imagine also by the way, if Martinez was actually good enough to get the best out of players, like Ranieri is doing at Leicester, or Moyes did out of some of the poorer sides he had. But he isn't and isn't actually good at much else either.
Goodison Park used to be a fortress.
One of my lasting memories from my childhood was the United game, where Duncan Ferguson scored from a Kilbane cross.
If we can riled up seeing the likes of Stubbs loft a ball aimlessly toward the head of Ferguson, I'd imagine we can get riled up seeing what we have now.
Move to the Bullens or Mainstand, they just grumble under their breath! TBH the atmosphere was better when the crowds were less, and more drunk.I just want to enjoy a game without listening to 20 people shouting abuse at Ross Barkley every 5minutes.
On the blower to my brother after the game back home, first thing i said was he has lost the players, on reflection maybe an over reaction from me, but that was as bad or worse than the United game - but at least their was a relative reason maybe for that given the earlier news that day, saturday was alarming
