Dave, your arguments are starting to fall to pieces a bit lately, pal.

I don't think anyone is demanding a CL spot, that isn't why the majority want him gone. He has for two seasons now MASSIVELY underachieved from expectations.

As a match going Evertonian I have seen us lose eight, draw two and win four games (three against the current bottom three) this season, is that good enough?

Yes we have got to two semi-finals, but we had one of the easiest League Cup runs and went out to the first good team we met. It is worth bearing in mind that we were leading the tie 3-1 with 60 minutes to go and instead of shutting up shop, we went onto concede three goals.

As entertaining as you are Dave, you're starting to look like you're on the wind up. You won't have any said against him and then come out with the most bizarre defence.

The performances have been better than last season and the away form is good but is it enough? Just because we were beyond awful last season and our results are marginally better than last year should any of us really class that as progress?

RM lowered expectations by being so bad last season, just because he's gone from awful to being bad doesn't mean he's doing a good job it just means he's not as useless as last year.

Technically you can say he's making progress but in reality if he hadn't messed up everything so badly last year we wouldn't be classing this season as progress in the first place.

Some people are victims of their own success. RM is a success of his own failure by your twisted logic.

I wont betray a pm, but I can give an insight that sums up the 60 or so I've had on this in the last 48 hours. It's a compendium letter and no one's in particular, just pulling out the tone and major emotion:

"Dave, well in lad. I cant be arsed challenging the fume going on, but it needs saying. It's hysteria, lad. Just mad . Where were these people after the Chelsea game mate? Doing my head in. Anyway, Kenwright's a lot of things but he values loyalty and RM is sound for at least next season. Keep up the good work mate".

Yeah but Dave unfortunately for you. No one is saying any of the bit in italic font. Not one person.

Also everyone on here is loyal, of course they are, why would they bother their Arse spending time on a fans forum, when just supporting the club would be enough.

Everyone is Loyal to Everton that's what makes them Evertonians, you don't have to be loyal to a manager to be loyal to a club.

The fume only comes about because our fans believe we are capable of so much more.

The highlight of the last few days has easily been @davek cosying up to the chairman.

He gazed up at the enormous face. Seventeen years it had taken him to learn what kind of smile was hidden beneath those wobbling jowls. O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast! Two Chang-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Bill Kenwright.
