Toffeeweb are currently running a poll. There are 3 options to vote on.

A. Give Bobby more time.
B. Wait on see on the FA Cup.
C. Bobby out regardless of FA Cup win.

Of 1,263 votes cast so far option C leads with 81%.

This leads me to draw 1 of 3 conclusions.

A. The Toffeweb and GOT polls are indicative of the true feelings of Everton fans.
B. The Toffeeweb "silent majority" are equally cowed and oppressed.
C. The "silent majority" is the figment of a fevered imagination.

Answers on a postcard please.

*just so it`s clear i`m an advocate of option C to both questions.

He's got to win the derby AND the cup as a bare minimum, for me. And that's just to get him the start of next season

Just one's looking a very big ask; both are looking unlikely.

I've got a foot in the C camp, but Toffee Web is so bloody miserable it makes this place look like it's loved up on eccies.

Im also firmly in the C camp.

Enough is enough

Back four plus GK will be reconstituted in the summer. No question of that.

For me: out would go Baines and Stones. Coleman would just about be retained given his performances all told this season. Keep Jagileka but take the armband off him. Funes Mori and Galloway retain. Bring in a new RB cover and a LB. Bring in a CB who can lead and organise his defence and a top GK.

That would sort it.

That's really re assuring because Martinez has a history of buying great defenders and being able to drill. Oh hang on, he has the worst reputation for defensive play of any manager in the history of the premier league.

I would agree that C is sadly the only answer at this point.

Our petulant fans will not be satisfied with anything else. There is no coming back at this point...the atmosphere will only continue to get worse even if we are winning stuff.

He was also starting in his preferred position at the Emirates and WHL as a teenager in a top 4 chasing side. How many teenagers do we currently have playing in out 12th placed side?

How many academy graduates that have come through the system has Martinez given game time to? The answer is 1, Browning who came in to cover Colemans injury then was dropped straight away.

Moyes gave debuts to Rooney, Rodwell, Barkley, Baxter, Vaughan, Anichebe all as young teenagers of 16 or 17. How many 16 or 17 year olds has Martinez blooded?

Even though I'm in the cult I'm going to go against Martinez here, Moyes had no choice but to bring the young lads through because he wasn't given a brass farthing of any decent money to spend, whereas Martinez has been backed with cash.

Yeah the sense of entitlement is amazing, how very DARE we expect a team with some of the best young players in Europe to finish higher than 11th for 2 seasons on the run, we should bend over and accept our 11th place finish with grace.

As long as no one suggests that those who are fed up of Martinez don't want us to win the FA Cup (bar that one individual who would rather win the Derby! !)

Thats me and im not ashamed to say it I would rather win the derby ........ we can win the cup next year

You might not be in the cult anymore

I believe the party line is that Martinez wasn't given any more resources than Moyes
