Honestly mate I appreciate the effort but the only way to fairly asses our injuries is to compare them to others and that would be a mammoth task. For example UTD have been bombarded by then this season along with Arsenal. I think it's better to compare squads.

* Barry and/or McCarthy should be in DM and i think @Santodomingo would agree with me that both are masking the others deficiencies meaning we play with 2 players rather than just one (look at busquets for example of pure class here which we need also for this system).

** Due to playing 2 DMs (actually Barry at DM and McCarthy out of position) Besic is the only actual CM we have and even then he has been moved from a CB / DM into that role and we havent really seen him.

Its a mess really in the centre.

The list of players above are those able to play the style i think martinez wants and i feel strongly that until we sign at least 4 more players in the summer and then keep adding one or 2 a summer we wont be looking too hot as a squad.

Moyes is the benchmark of failure mate.

I mean if hes aspiring to be Moyes we may as well get shut now.

His benchmark and every single Everton managers benchmark is Howard Kendall.

Doing better than Moyes isnt hard, first of all he needs to do better than Royle, then Kendall, currently I put him somewhere between Mike Walker and Jimmy Gabriel.

So your saying a squad, that our manager has spent 100m building, signing 22 players in 3 years, is not looking too hot?

You have no idea what your talking about Zat, the squad is fine, it only needs 3 players MAX adding to be perfect.

The squad isnt the issue, the tactics and training are.

Not at all. I think he and Coleman are brilliant full backs and come across very well also.

However i dont think they can play in this system and i think thats becoming more and more evident.

Play in what system? You keep saying this system, they were 2 of the best Fullbacks in the league, El Coco comes in and they both fall off a cliff, but when a team plays an unbalanced formation with no structure quality players will struggle with a system they dont understand or agree with.

I know Moyes kept on with that knife to a gunfight rethoric. I hated it. I held out hopes he'd turn around to the dressing room and said 'I'm only playing games with media, you lads are boss'

Tbf we beat Rafael's Liverpool and a Ferguson's United on the way to the final that time. If we win it this year. You could say in comparison we did enough to win it that year under Moyes. I know, I know 'but we didn't'. But we also haven't yet.
