Roberto Martinez discussion

Well its quite hard to get a proper figure due to the way deals are undisclosed, I suspect its nearer 50m than 30m tho personally.

But regardless, hes spent the money well, no complaints from me on that score.

Fair enough. You have it roughly 41, I agree, (as much as I can agree, without full disclosure of the figures. ) My original rough sum had it in the 30's, but that's forgetting (now, anyway) the Swiss kid, and I forgot we had to cough up for free agent Barry.

I bet theres managers all over Europe praying he gets sacked for the chance to work with such a group of talented players.

Don't kid yourself, they'll all go if Bobby goes, they're only here because of him. Besic confirmed as much yesterday, as has Delefeou.

I know it's all well and good thinking Everton can attract these players but right now but sadly that's not the case. There here to work with Bobby.

Obviously you'll paper over all that cause it doesn't fit with your agenda but all these superstars you mention have been brought here or developed by the man you're sending the boot in to (let's face it, Barkley would have disappeared of the face of the earth cause it was too risky letting him learn on the job, Stones the same. Pretty much the same way that World Cup winner Mustafi was moved on).

The only aspect of Bobbys management you can actually question is his league positions, even his points total are similar or better than the man we had previously but the ceiling for this team is through the roof and the good times are just around the corner now. In the mean time you better get on board the train and enjoy watching a proven winner end our 25 year cup drought cause as long as he's creating / buying players that our board can make £25-£30 million profits on, he's going absolutely no where. He's an Everton chairman's dream.

They wont go anywhere if Bobby goes, cos by the time he gets sacked, they will have already gone.

I dont want him sacked, ive never wanted him sacked, I simply want him to get better at his job.

He doesnt get unconditional support from me, thats something he has to earn.

Honestly I don't think it matters now- we won't finish top 4, they're already gone. hopefully the team can give us a cup before they head off to their highly successful careers. so us younger ones get to experience it really.

Mate come on, they will go for certain if Bobby stays, you think a striker like Lukaku wants to play in a mid table side? A guy who can easily be playing at the top table already, his efforts are going to waste at the moment. Same with Stones, what he is going to learn under a manager who dosen't seem to care about defending? As for Besic its not him we are worried about losing, even thou has has played really well last few weeks.

Its the league positions that count thou and only them, not Brendan Rogers type possession or how pretty the play looks. Proven winner, he has also taken a side down while he was at it. As for the board, he is an Everton Chairmans nightmare, loss of places losses a lot of money.

No mate, in the Summer, when Rom and John are getting offered 200k a week and the chance to play in the CL and win trophies they will both turn round and say "NO Barca/PSG/Bayern I will only sign if you hire Roberto Martinez."

And as for Besic, hes just playing the game, blow smoke up the utter frauds anus and get in his little pick clique.

Imagine ANY other Premiership team would have bid for him, can just imagine him turning round and saying "NO, I want to stay in Hungary and earn 50p an hour, I refuse to join any other team in England than the 1 Roberto Martinez manages."

Its starting to get almost cult like this.

As Besic said the other day: "I only came here for Roberto. It's just a rainy city that gets on me tits. If Roberto goes, I go"

there isn't a man on the planet in any position who deserves unconditional support

Correct.

I'm sure *some* people think these young Galacticos in the making came to Goodison because they want to shop on County Road.

They buy into El Conquistador's vision. If he goes they'll run a mile from some hoofball maestro telling them to "get it in the mixer pronto, lad".
