Roberto Martinez discussion

Probably most appropriate here, Osman talking about tightening up at the back;

Although it was obvious to 40k fans week in week out, he deserves credit for acknowledging and working in it, he now needs to find the balance where we still look as or almost as dangerous going forward. Chelsea on Saturday is a fantastic opportunity for 3 points, in relative terms.

Phenomenal that you said that lol

A second win over Chelsea this season would be great though, yeah.

It became obvious that with City up twice and Spurs sandwiched between them and Chelsea away to come that we needed to get more pragmatic in this period. It's what Martinez has done before against the bigger teams. If Osman thinks there's going to be a lid put on attacking flair once we get through these games he isn't paying attention.

Lets hope the outcome is the same. A cup win plus a bottom half finish is a great season.
Not too far down the bottom half though eh?

I'm not sure we'd hold onto Stones and Lukaku if we're bottom half, regardless of a cup win or two. And those two are pretty much key at the moment.

If it were me, a cup win would trump a solid top half finish. Players want a trophy.

Bobby's done a better job than I thought at building up expectations after us bring told we should be aiming for 40 points every season.

He takes a team to City, the richest club in the world, champions Lge group winners and generally regarded as favourites for everything here. We are the better side for the first 45 mins, then sit in in the 2nd half and look really solid at the back whilst stopping them scoring for only the second time in a year whilst also looking very, very menacing on the break and this is somehow being used a stick to beat the manager with??

There's some bad, clueless idiots following this club.
There is mate

Good to see you have your constructive head on today
