Would he buy a keeper though? Media is quick to suggest a new link to a new keeper every week, because it is obviously a weak point, but Martinez keeps hailing Howard as a top pro and GK, whereas we can all see he's not.

There hardly is one, but is there anything to suggest we're gonna drop Howard all of a sudden? Robles has come in and done well, and even after that Howard is still back in the team as the first name on it.

Maybe but it came close. No shame in losing to Chelsea in a final and Fiorentina on penalties. Also a lot to be said for finishing 5th in the league, damn lot better than being in the bottom half anyway.

Give him 30m + every Summer like all other clubs and you don't think he wants a world class keeper?
Even a stubborn Manager can see the real value world class keepers bring to a team.

If Howard was dropped in the league, he'd in theory have to play in the cups unless Martinez stopped him played full stop ...at this point those are the competitions we're more likely to earn Europe from so I'd prefer Robles in goal for them.

I know we're in 11th place following on from last season which was a huge disappointment. I don't want us to become the type of team that finishes in the bottom half regularly.

Stop acting like people aren't well within their rights to be aggrieved at our showing this season. It's been so below par. I'm not a knee jerker, I even want him to have at least until May to sort it out but he's got to start showing he can get this team winning football matches again.
