Roberto Martinez discussion

Aidrian Durham and his opinion do not matter mate, Martinez gets an easy ride, no doubt about it, you've proved it by stating how hard the media have been on Stones this week. He's brilliant with his PR that's why he gets the easy ride.

He doesn't get an easy ride at all mate. They just don't care about Everton unless they're talking about selling our best players.

Ok mate. I'll go halves with you and say he gets an easy ride because the media don't care about Everton.

I think he gets an easy ride from the local media, if that counts haha? Would like to see him grilled more in pressers for his decisions with Howard etc.

But also think when it comes to general discussion on radio, TV etc, he often gets unfairly slated by people who don't watch us that much.

You are, I know you are, you know you are, now please don't be a tit, you're one of my fave new era 'plotters' as in plotting Evertons downfall by being so wrongheaded in supporting Martinez over Everton.

:bye:lol

You're making me blush here Ian, our isolated moments of mutual back-patting could turn into proper BUMMING if we're not careful.

If it happens, it happens, I'm pretty game. Just accept it. It's been a tough night tonight, I've had to talk @mkrudden around and prove Lowste is a complete ballbag, all whilst keeping my composure despite being on my 12th can of carling. Koff Martinez.

For a fella who says he doesn't like blaming referees or making excuses he sure does do a lot of blaming referees and making excuses.

in the scheme of the season it is a pattern.

Same as before it was goals conceded in the 6 yard box, and off set peices. Kept happening, the same mistakes kept getting paid.

I'm not waving some video footage at it and there is a chance it may be a coincidence that it has happened twice. but for something to happen it is bad luck, for it to repeatedly happen then there is a reason for it

We've played 29 games. We've conceded two goals from deflected shots.

I don't think it's a great concern - but we should keep an eye on it. Perhaps there are more.

The teams who scored against us were Chelsea and Manchester City.

They both have very talented players - acquired at great expense. We don't play them every week.

Didn't Swansea get a goal from a deflection aswell? If so, that's 3 in 3 games. As you say over, the course of the season it's not a big percentage but rather extremely noticeable because they've all come at once.

Most things ive read have been very supportive of young John, havent really read him getting slated, yeah people are pointing out his mistakes, but cant say ive heard anybody saying anything but "Hes young, but utterly talented"

Maybe not slagging him off per-say, though the tweet that advertised that article said 'Stones has made NINE mistakes. Is he really worth £40mil?'

Click-bait I know.
