You realise Niasse has been on the bench for past few games and wasnt 100% fit.

Many times players who arent fit are on the bench.

Also its what looks to have happened today so it isnt "rubbish" it it?

He can put Baines or Osman there. They can defend and help out the flank than Naisse who turned out to be hopeless today.

Hes gone for 2 up top and niasse was worse than anyone could ever have imagined.

Two of the goals should have been cleared easily.

It was the space we gave them after the sub mate, we pretty much went down to eight outfield players trying to defend. I agree our players are perfetic at closing down, reacting to loose balls and preventing crosses but the sub killed us.

He's dead to me after today I'm afraid,this type of shenanigans has gone on since Arsenal at home last season and is a recurring theme,the players were fantastic for 70 odd minutes then someone again lost the plot.

You dont think that Barry being unfit for the game affected his thinking on bringing him on which is why he left it as late as possible?

If he and/or Baines wasn't fit to play any part, he/they should have been in the stands with Galloway and/or Browning on the bench !!

It is just bloody weird. Like we were superb for 75 minutes. He tweeked when Kev went loco, was 100% right with Besic for Stones at HT, then committed one of the cardinal sins of football.

Up there with not making defensive subs when defending a corner.

Bringing on a second striker come winger when in front with 10 men.

At the root of everything seems to be that he doesn't coach his teams to keep defensive shape, so they will always be vulnerable to come backs by the other team and not just lose one goal leads but also 2 or 3 goal leads, particularly when he ruins the shape still further with stupid substations like today
