He tried to be clever, thinking that West Ham pushing forward would leave more holes at the back. But failed to notice we would be totally over run in midfield and they took advantage. I remember a certain Northern Irishman having the same ideas at Palace that probably cost him a title, and how we laughed

but its not how we play...were trying to emulate barca.

Rightly or wrongly thats the way he wants us to play. Id quite like to see us playing like barca when he makes some signings this summer.

If he fails after the summer then all bets are off but we will have a top 4 squad.

If he and/or Baines wasn't fit to play any part, he/they should have been in the stands with Galloway and/or Browning on the bench !!

Theres plenty of players whove been on the bench but only able to come on for a few mins...look at niasse last couple of weeks.

Baines is there when its common knowledge hes injured...we have a poor squad which ive highlighted many times this season.

We need strength in depth, more quality.

otherwise will need to put players on the bench who arent 100% fit.

The one with the great team on paper that cant beat nobbing west ham despite having a two goal lead, sorry i'm not gushing about how great we are when players cant be arsed doing the basics at times.

New manager is needed, we're going to lose players this summer thats a garuntee.

Well he did it again didn't he. Week after week he keeps messing it up. Tactically he is inept and he is not the man to take us forward. No-one not even @davek can defend him?

We had the game bagged at 75 minutes we just had to tighten it up and stop the crosses into our box. And what does the fool do - puts on another striker FFFFFFFFSSSSS!

And for what it's worth Niasse looks utter turd. He runs around like a headless chicken trying to catch up with play.

He's dead to me after today I'm afraid,this type of shenanigans has gone on since Arsenal at home last season and is a recurring theme,the players were fantastic for 70 odd minutes then someone again lost the plot.

Just waiting to see which player is going to break rank first.

You stick at it mate, I don't believe we have a team under Martinez that can win anything but I do believe that we will part company with him at the end of the year and we will get a team who will give you success.
