With no word of exaggeration, he honestly looked like he didn't know what football was, and just ran around like he'd paid for an appearance in a charity match at Goodison after a few pints an the pub.

We just can't judge him now though - he's going to need a pre-season behind him. For now, he should be on the bench and only brought on if we're two or three up and cruising. With 11 men preferably FFS.

Remember Besic first touch v Chelsea and look at him now more or less fans favourite and he would be my first choice on the team sheet. So I believe Niasse will come good just needs time and coming in at a time we aren't under a lot of pressure ( what a stupid sub) but I'm not surprised at anything Martinez does.

Laudrup is a bit useless.

That would just be a side ways step.

Id try get hiddink for a year or somehow try blag mourinho into it.

You can't pin the blame on one sub...it's no different than the Stones thing. He went off after playing in a team shape everyone seems to think is a death trap and we then proceeded to ship 3 unanswered goals after reverting to a back 4 again; it's a team game, although someone seems to spell team with an "i". Was glad to see Rom tap his head in a "WTF are you doing" gesture after that boneheaded move.

Ah I think it's a bit harsh to judge the lad yet. He had 3 mins of premier league football before he was thrown into that mess.

Really should have been given an easier intro. 30 mins left against villa at 3-0 would have been the obvious time I thought.

We were cruising with a back four until that sub was made. We then had absolutely no cover on the flanks as Niasse did the square sum of nothing other than do his best Ali Daei impression, and we got overran by crosses and conceded three.

The sub was definitely to blame for conceding three quick goals. Mirallas was to blame for costing us the opportunity to win the game at a canter anyway, but Martinez made that sub given the circumstances he had, and it was the wrong one - so wrong that it's almost inexplicable.

I havent blamed the defeat on 1 sub, ive simply said it was very stupid and was a factor in the defeat.

The most important factor happened at FF, its like he takes the players to 1 side and unteaches them how to play football.
 
Never been one to take notice of win loss records at home or away but Jesus the home stats are frightening. The Away form is keeping us where we are right now. I don't think even Smith and Kendall third time round had home form as bad did they?
