I'm just saying, would Roberto be where is now without Barks, that's the question.
What about Big Rom Browns?
Rom's good but he's not the perfect player. I think you have to acknowledge that a large chunk of Roberto's managerial genius and the reason we've managed to score 50+ goals already is simply due to his recognition that Barks was a nice player.
I disagree with that for one simple reason: it is almost completely comprised of internationals in almost every position. There was talk of bringing Barry back into the England squad, same with Lennon. Mirallas and Lukaku are on the Belgium team(the #1 team in the world), McCarthy is one, Barkley/Jags/Baines, Funes Mori with Argentina. This is a team that is massively underperforming. I do not think you can really look at it any other way.
That's the nub of it for me. Some of the games I've been to this season (mainly away) we've played some amazing stuff. Stoke, just the other week, was about as perfect an away performance as you can get. The issue to me are the home results, which is where most people get to see us. I say results because we've had some decent performances at home, but just not got what we've deserved on occasions. Palace was a perfect example of this. We basically played them off the park that night, but end up with a draw. He's capable of outplaying pretty much every team in the league and is a young manager. You could say he can learn new skills. You could say he never will.
Only time will tell.
Move out Hibbert, Osman, Pienaar, Howard, and I'd go with that I reckon.Stick here, another year, if the philosphey doesn't bite after year 4, then questions are justified.

I want him to succeed so much.. Sake.
I'm taking them as Shay Givens mate ?Forgot about Kone and Gibson
Just got a feeling he wins the cup, spends loads of new dosh and makes us boss again here.Where do people expect him to rock up next, should he find himself out of work in the near future?
There are a few big names in Spain and Germany that have been refusing to accept the inevitability of relegation for a while now. I could see him taking down Stuttgart, and then maybe someone like Real Betis, before settling into his ideal role as Europe's top Herbal Life salesman.
